When I was a child puberty was addressed in a class called "Social hygiene" and we couldn't wait to take it. It had the feel of an initiation, girls and boys were segregated and after class both groups eyed the other with a quizzical gaze.

They need to learn that puberty is natural, and it's dangerous to interrupt it's natural processes with hormone therapy.

Everyone should know how their body works. I think the best time to teach kids about that stuff is right before most kids go through puberty because it’s important to understand your body especially when it’s changing.
