Welcome to my channel!
On this channel I am going to make videos about basically everything I find interesting, this can go from hardware to software to money to motorcycles. By doing this I want to give back to the online community. Over the years I have consumed an enormous amount of content about a lot of different subjects and learned so much about so many things.
I will try to upload on a weekly basis and try to increase my TH-cam skills along the way.

i hope you still read these comments. i followed your directions perfectly, when i turn the printer back on i get the creality screen then it freezes. I'm at a lost on what to do. help or advice would be greatly appreciated
how to do format on windows 11
What's with all the sou8nd effects - kinda distracts from the real content and for me, made me look elsewhere for information
hey thanks for the video. i have followed it exactly and for some reason the z axis will not touch the bed anymore to level the bed. any ideas what i can do?
after doing this seems like the sensor is inversed, it it shows filament runout when it has filament, but shows there is filament when filament is taken out. how do I fix this?
🧐😮👍👋👋❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I've never seen a less clear "how to" video. Thanks for the video, but the speed ruins it
Thanks for the video. Please DON'T call a video "How to" unless you show details on each part and how to do it. Instead, you sped it up like crazy and I nearly broke my printer. I would appreciate a more clear video. Thanks
Doesn't show how to remove the last screw on the bracket
Nice this helped a lot
DONT DO THIS. I downloaded the file and followed his directions and now the screens shows nothing. I cannot get the printer to work anymore.
Can you do an actual video thats not 5x speed? Because this shit is annoying.
Is there some type of guide i can get? my filament scrapes on the sensor. It leaves a bunch of filament dust.
Slow down this is a tutorial
This is a great starter video about the process of installation however you are doing too much work ! You can disconnect the tube feeder and connectors to the extruder feeder motor and remove the three nuts that attach the mounting plate to the gantry. Also, remove the two screws that attach the screw drive. This allows the removal of the extruder feeder assembly without disassembling the frame and removing the entire gantry. Easy !!!
Do you think you can make the video go ANY faster?
Can this sensor be installed for the printer ender3 v2 neo?
Yes, but the firmware he recommends is not the correct one because it doesn't include the "BL" sensor (the thingy that touches the plate to home Z), so you need to choose one that does have that.
Hello, can you make a video for Ender3 V2 for clogs detection? Bcz most of the time the printer keeps printing, the filament is also there but due to clog nothing comes out.
I got a black screen after following your instructions exactly. So here’s what I did. Might make a difference for someone having trouble. Don’t do the “quick format” option on the card. Do a full format. Also I hit the “eject “ button before pulling the card out of the computer. I also pulled the power cord out for a few seconds, turned switch on then back off, plugged cord back in and inserted so card with firmware on it. Powered back up and it works perfect. Don’t know what exactly I did wrong the first time.
Thanks for these tips, Im just few weeks new to 3D printing and i am still a newbie, i bought Ender 3 V2 from a friend (2nd hand) so its my first 3D printer, I hope to learn more tips from you sir!.. God Bless
J chose the same software as you but how do i set my home offset
I bought a generic $1.69 runout sensor on Aliexpress and printed my own bracket that is combined with a roller style filament guide that uses a standard skateboard bearing. I might upload the design to thingaverse since I had to remix multiple designs to get the nice roller/sensor/bracket combo perfect for my Ender 3v2. I also made an second version for my Voxelab Aquila.
Thingiverse thing #6195542 Filament sensor bracket with guide pulley system. Uses the ultra cheap generic sensor and requires no disassembly except to plug in the cable to the motherboard.
will this work on the ender 3 v2 neo?
I have the same question. Anyone could please help us?
Hello. Please help me with the choice of firmware on my printer, My motherboard version 4.2.2 is also equipped with filament sensor Touch sensors , which firmware should I choose specifically for my motherboard . My TFT display. How to flash the display to work with my motherboard. thank you in advance
Good morning, Sorry about my English, I don’t speak it well. I watched your video and it helped me to place my cable end sensor on my ENDER 3-V2. I updated the software as you explained with the correct version 4,2,2. Everything is working well. Except that when there is a current break, the print does not restart where it stopped, but it starts from the beginning. Can you help me? Thank you and beautiful day,
I currently have the Ender-3 v2 Neo with the 4.2.7 motherboard. It has the leveling sensor on it also. Is the default firmware still the correct download?
Still waiting for someone to answer.
Make the video 20x faster next time, too slow
im looking for the filament runout and the build plate leveler? anyone know where i can find both?
will this fit on ender 3 v2 neo?
installed my filament sensor today, used the firmware on the website of creality, flashed the firmware onto my mainboard..success, flashed the firmware onto my screen...no success
Thank you for doing this video first off. Second I have the ender 3 v2 but haven't assembled it yet how can I install this sensor when I assemble it for the first time? Does this question make sense?
yo, really thanks for the frimware he is perfect, and good videos
I came here to watch how the sensor is installed. Your video failed because the actual part I was interested in was sped up. I'm not interested in having to pause every ten seconds to catch up. No love from me. Sorry.
Even when you slow it down it's way too fast lol 😂
Seriously. He's saying to disassemble something and he speeds it up to what we can't see.
Same! I have an original cr10 and can't find instructions anywhere on how to replace the extruder bracket clearly. Most are gor different models and the steps don't apply. Has anyone found a good guide? I also can't believe that creality doesn't have a support site for their products. Everything is via email and that is slow and communication is iffy. If you ask more than one question they only answer one and you have to keep going back and forth. They should have online instructions at minimum and a video tutorial would be great! I'm seriously starting to get put off from Creality and I've supported them since 2016.
Please don't fast forward trough the process.
Oh my gooood it makes my eyes bleed man! Never lay down your printer on its back! You have just bended Z axis T-nut! And that's how z-wobble appears after filament sensor installed XD If you want access to mainboard lay down your printer on its side, never give preassure on Z axis nut!
That's indeed a valid point, putting a lot of pressure on the z-axis would not be good. I this case I don't think the weight of the printer is actually enough to do some permanent damage, but still better to avoid than having to fix it.
I guess there has to be a 3dprinted base to attach next to extruder so you dont have to disassemble the half printer. I have something similar as a filament guide.
i have an ender-3 and i can see that all the firmware versions are for the ender-3 v2, will these work with my ender-3?
have you find out? I have an ender 3 pro
I dont know I just dont use mine, and use a sonic pad insted
What version would I use for a Ender 3 pro with a cr touch and board ver. 4.2.2???
have you find out if it works with ender 3 pro?..Please help
Jyers is dead. No development for over a year now.
thank you for this tutorial. without which it was a mission impossible ! However, now I'm looking for an easy way to replace the filament once the end is detected . it's really difficult with so few space betwwen the sensor and the extrude. any advice ?
Will this work on Ender 3 V2 Neo? It has CR touch pre-installed.
dutch power
does the same process work for the ender 3 v2 neo?
when it pauses does the bed heater turn off? If so how can this be prevented, as the model will release from my plate if it cools down.
does this work on on ender 3 pro? because after bin file. screen stays blue
same here E3V2-Default-v4.2.7-v2.0.1.bin doesn't work stays on blue screen
did you fix it, if so how
@@maxenlol no still blue screen
have you fixed it? I want to install same sensor on ender 3 pro
Hi! Great video, I've one question though I have a ender 3 v2 Neo, and I think the firmware is different for the regular v2, can I install the sensor without changing the firmware?
Just looked up the Ender 3 neo hadn't heard of it. I have no idea what it's firmware looks like, it's possible that it has the option to enable a filament sensor but I am not sure.
Also depending on the board it uses you can flash new firmware that has filament sensor support.
@@yoramswiers thank you for taking the time to answer how you're doing great will recommend you channel
Hello, I have the same doubt. Did you manage to solve?
In what way is the Creality one better than the DIY one you can put together for a few bucks and without taking apart half the printer?
Putting the pins in a breadboard and then soldering the board on top ensures the pins are lined up. Also holds things in place nicely
That's indeed also a great way to do this!
I have an Ender 3 V2 4.2.2 and I installed the oem filament sensor and I have a touch screen, I am unable to update the firmware, it wakes to a Creality screen with a progress bar and nothing ever happens. Any ideas?
I have the Creality Ender 3 V2 with the 4.2.2 highly modified. I am running the added z axis 2nd motor upgrade which I highly recommend(gets rid of any sag on x axis) along with the $40 Creality Direct Drive extruder(they did release newer direct drive for around$98 which I may upgrade to in future but happy with current setup). The $40 direct drive has worked flawless since install and setup. I just picked up the filament detector will use your video to get it hooked up, I will have to design different mounting since I am running direct driver extruder. I am also using CR touch added some G Code for the auto level routine, have not had to set any height changes in over six months, works incredibly well. I also just recently bought the surround chamber for the unit which should keep temps more stable. I have used PLA, PLA PLUS, NylonX with CF, and PETG with CF without any issues to date. I actually like the way the CF adds some hold to the prints keeps things stiff while printing tall items. My most used nozzle is the hardened steel .6mm for type of items I 3d print it is good speed and quality good compromise, plus holds up well to the CF.
is this a comment on the video or a diary entry?
Sweet and simple. Appreciate the video
