Managed to snap a driveshaft just two days after owning my ST! 🤦‍♂️
A local company wanted £650 to fix it as it meant removing the gearbox and taking it apart to get the broken part out. So me and my good friend @simonpove.y had a go at removing it ourselves.
Probably very obvious, but we’re clearly not mechanics. We’re just a couple of guys having a go and tinkering, but we managed to do it 💪🏻
There was a funny noise when the car was up on axle stands, but as the cars been driven a bit the sounds gone now!
That’s what I’d call a right result! Saved myself £650! Bought Si dinner to say thanks 😊
I wonder what will break next? 😳
