I collect and play all kinds of Vintage and retro video games from Atari to Evercade.
Atari is my main passion but I also love to play and collect for Nintendo, Sega, Playstation and Xbox.
I sometimes also pickup old toys that I have nostalgia for from my childhood.

Playstation, Xbox, Sega,Nintendo, all came along at once!!!!!
After picking up just a few Videopac games, there wasn't much to add to the collection then things improved considerably!!!!!!!

Gameplay of an Arcade Game I used to play in the early 90's. Thunder Cross is a great shoot 'em up (Shmup). With a variety of weapons and ways to use them you have to try and take out the enemies until you come to each Boss.

Quite a large parcel has arrived and I am going to go through it to see if there is anything to add to my collection. Anything to sell to re-coup my money and maybe even make a bit of profit to fund future purchases.

An introduction to the channel and some of my more recent pickups!!!
Thanks. Hope they don't send me down another rabbit hole though!🙄
Great pickups - nice collecovision stuff
Bagged some nice bits there mate, never been to an auction would be useful to know what you actually paid for stuff tbh as it provides a bit of context.
I paid 74 for the Videopac, 62 for the games bundle with the magazines and 62 for the Gameboy bundle. Would have been 38 less but there is 24% buyers premium. I stopped mentioning prices after someone said something in another video I watched but I can't even remember who it was or what they said now!!!
@@retrosnipe Nah ive always been a fan of knowing prices (its why i always try to say what ive paid for stuff tbh)
Great pickups ☘️☘️
@@gullpayne cheers
Nice Videopac bundle. You often need to press the reset button after inserting cartridge. Such a great underrated system. Space Monster is pretty good with an unusual spin how the lives work. Mousing Cat is a hard to find game, took me a long time to find that one, been playing that quite a bit lately. It is really a 2 player game but still quite fun single player, was intending on doing a vid on that one. A good number of the videopac games are really designed for 2 players. Speaking of Videopac ai received my very first(and probably only) homebrew game for it today, more on that to come🙂 Yep those game tavs were fine for displaying but they're usually lost as they can fall out😑 Great stuff mate, hope you get it working.
I've done the reset thing but the image is a bit garbled but I think it just needs a good clean as the video signal is nice and clear on the select game screen. Looking forward to the homebrew. Cheers
Nice grabs there mate, the mags coming in the Commodore printer paper box was a nice touch! Had a few Phillips videopacs over the years that I’ve grabbed from the boot sales, love the packaging for the carts but could never get into the games! Awesome items for the collection though!
Haha, probably look better on the shelf than on the screen but i'll still give them a go. Cheers
Sone grest bits. Especially in the wild. Can't go wrong with the commic zone 👌 ✌️
@rollerxcore Thanks, yeah that's the one that caught my eye. I've heard differing reports but I'll definitely give it a go!
Quality game in the background with Beamrider mate You found some more nice deals here by the sounds of it Awesome to get a Videopac, I think they are great, you got some quite uncommon titles there I think Dambuster and Cat&Mouse both quite rare. Does sound like it might be a bit of a dirty cart or console slot, not the easiest games to clean with the spring loaded cover but I've done all mine with cotton buds Great pickups again👍
@retroimportgamer513 I love Beamrider, just learning about the video pack really. I liked the look of the boxes/box art. I'll be spending tomorrow morning giving all a good clean. Cheers
Some nice atari bits there mate, not very often you see folk collecting for the Lynx nowadays (although weirdly 4 people at MK market were asking for lynx games!)
Thanks! I think I need 18 for a full set BUT they are not all complete and are in varying condition.
@@retrosnipe Oooof bit a challenge for sure!
@tootyuk Just want the games on the Lynx. If they come with the cardboard great but I'm happy enough just to get the cart.
Never seen that ps1 shoot before interest peaked and only £1.50 very nice ☘️☘️
Neither had I and I couldn't leave it for that price!
Great video and pickups mate. Loved WrestleFest growing up also, Super WrestleMania looked good but just wasntvtge same.
I could beat the legion of doom to win the belts but would always lose on my first defence😂. Cheers
Wow so much goodness in the box - lost of cardboard goodness 😁 handy u got to complete that APB very cool
With the amount of games I have been able to box or complete, this bundle has paid for itself several times over! Cheers
Great video here and very nice pickups - nice boxes and always handy to have the box protectors -‘not played most of them - always nice to get a cex roulette - looks like it came in pretty nice condition ☘️☘️☘️
Yeah, it was in nice condition thankfully!! Cheers
Over from James retro import gamer - top video brother and nice pickups - wow flashback on jaguar very nice
Thanks! I will be watching quite a few of your videos also by the looks of it.
Some brilliant pick ups there fella loving all the Nintendo, The adventure of Batman and Robin is well hard can't get off the first level lol Great video and subbed 👍
Thanks, keep struggling on the giant toy soldier at the end of level one lol.
Sounds like you're suffering from the same footy woes as we at the moment mate, can only hope we can get through it! I've just been playing the Man Utd games on the C64, quite a blast from the past. Those PS2 slims are excellent, it's amazing how they managed to reduce it from the massive breeze block it was originally.
I am ever the optimist that the football will improve as it did in 89-90🤞. I had high hopes for those Man Utd Europe games but then SWOS came along and the rest is history!!!!
@@retrosnipe here's hoping buddy. You're right about SWOS, for a while that was the best football game around.
Nice pickups, you're right to be happy about them :) Display the unboxed games however you fancy it, it's your display. I only have the 2600 JR which is in the loft atm. I had a composite mod added but was a bit disappointed with the quality still tbh - so I've just picked up a Plus which will do the job I expect :)
The plus has so many advantages, especially being able to keep the originals in the box 😄. I have a comp modded Jr also, I was quite impressed, maybe there are more variables? I was undecided about the unboxed games so it was a genuine question. Do you think they are OK like that? Front facing maybe? Cheers
@@retrosnipe yeah I think so, maybe have the cart in front of the manual or something but it looks good
Here after your shout from James RetroImportGamer. Ah a SNES i see, oh yes Nintendo grey plastic loves to slowly turn into woodgrain .. sorry woodstain 😂. My SuperFamicom is also getting a bit tanned around the edges nowadays. Cool to watch. Hopefully your channel gets a boost ! 🎮🕹️👏
Thanks. I have a really quite nice boxed SNES. I just wanted to get one as cheap as possible to play on and ended up getting two!😂
Some banging snes games. I love KI. The black cart felt really special at the time too. BTman retur s is fantastic I played it for the first time a few years ago and wondered why it took so long for me to get around to it I want to know who is buying all these brats games nowadays 😅 Nice to see some jag games in the wild. Great to see some 7800 games. I skipped that system straight to the NES. But that box art is tempting me to collect myself😅 Great pick ups. Especially batman and Robin animated ✌️✌️✌️
@@rollerxcore Couldn't resist Killer Instinct for some reason, went to get Super Star Wars and it was there so I brought it home. I only started buying Jaguar to get back the ones I had originally and I was only going to buy the Carts, now I'm closing in on a full boxed set. 😂
Come across from James's channel, Nice snes bundle, I steer clear of snes cardboard also 😂. Never owned or played on a jag. Really enjoyed batman on the snes, great scrolling beat em up. Singing vid in the near future? 😂😂.
@@davidretrogamesplayedbadly3533 over the moon and grateful to James as it seems to be bringing people who genuinely like the same/similar old rubbish as me! Not likely to be a singing video but not ruling it out 100%🎤.
The fab James (retro import) shouted you out on his latest video so thought I’d best pop over and sub 👍. Will work through your vids. Love the backdrop, and amazing to see some Jaguar games in a pickups. Great stuff 😊👍🕹️
@RetroEdUK This popped up just as I am watching your game room tour! I thought I has a lot of stuff😯. Thanks very much. Yes, James is top man!
@@retrosnipehaha, what are chances 😂. Thanks for checking out the vid mate. Much appreciated. Hope to chat soon as I work through your vids 😊
Great grabs, I’m toying with picking a snes back up, so many games I already need to buy for other systems though! I used to love Alien Brigade back in the day, spent hours playing that, loved phaser games! The queen boss in the lost level is a real bitch to kill, keeps spitting baby aliens at you constantly, takes forever to kill her! Subbed 😊
Not been able to get hold of an XE gun yet so will be struggling with the pad! Thanks for watching and subscribing!
Hey who needs fancy editing?🙂 Great value pickups as always, you're lucky with your cash converters there. My local equivalent seem to look at CEX prices and add about 20% on top😑 That Fight Night game was so disappointing, haha a real stinker of a game.
There are quite a few branches of Cash Converters near me. Sometimes it seems like they price match CEX and sometimes it seems like they just want to shift things quickly! I just try to be ready for the latter.
That's the attitude to have with the SNES games mate, don't blame you Bargain on Batman Returns 👍 Some nice 7800 you found there What a shame about those Jag games but at least you got two upgrades and the Defender looks real nice, that was a quick upgrade 🤣 Nice deal on that 7800 bundle, some nice games with it and the console box looked good Batman Jap art is way better in my opinion, I just picked that up recently myself A result on Batman & Robin for sure You definitely have a knack of finding great deals mate👍
Yeah, enough cardboard with my Atari stuff. The Jaguar games will pop up eventually, just picked one up this morning form CEX that I already had the box for. Definitely going to try and complete Batman and Robin before I move it on or at least get some play value out of it. I am self employed so I can keep an eye out for the bargains almost 24/7. 😂
always worth checking the capacitors on pal snes, especially the earlier ones, C59 should of been changed for a bipolar cap 10uf 50v but tons of the ones with the wrong cap never got recalled, usually results in dim picture output and at worse CPU burn out. great find in the Batman, ive been enjoying all the japanese artwork on Famicom & Super Famicom games testing em for the shop
I'll check but they both display a nice clear bright image at the moment. Thanks for the advice.
Really Like to take a look at that CRACKED Gameplay
Nice Saved MR.Kratos😁
Some nice Atari again mate, not going for many 7800 myself but think I have Cracked Shame about the Defender box, always the way the desirable titles are the battered ones, I'd settle for a cart only of that Definitely better than going in the bin even if only for spare cases👍
I only need 12 I think for the 7800, gonna get a bit costly when I get to Double Dragon and Super Skateboardin'! I considered getting NTSC ones after the 2600+ came out but it wouldn't feel right I don't think. Out of the 90 odd boxes I bought the other month I think the Defender one was the only one that was that far beyond repair😂.
You certainly find some fantastic deals mate, that bunch of Atari 800 stuff for less than a £1 each is amazing Always good to see Jag pickups, not many buy those and you got some uncommon ones, always wanted Rayman but not paying what that goes for Think the Jag console is the best box going personally 👍
@retroimportgamer513 I just watched them and they almost immediately sent me an offer for £18, couldn't say no! Think I only need 9 on the Jaguar now and two I've not seen for sale before have just popped up🤦♂️, could be another expensive month!
Nicely done on the Atari800 games, some belters there. The Jaguar boxart is so incredibly cool, probably best console box art of all time.
@Tetlee Thanks, would be nice if I had something to test/play them on though. As for the Jaguar, I was only originally trying to get back the ones I had ( no big hitters ). Now I'm closing in on a full set.🙄
Very nice video.
Thanks👍
That's an incredible find to get all those in one bundle mate (especially with me looking over your shoulder 🤣 I don't mind a bit of light box restoration, most of them look like they will clean up well Gyruss is great on the 2600, I recently bought that myself (spoiler alert🤣) All Atari stuff only seems to be going up so an amazing bundle 👍
Thanks, most of them were in decent condition, there were a few rotters as well though. I like trying to tart the boxes up a bit almost as much as getting them in the first place. They've paid for themselves two or three times over now as well! I was able to box quite a few doubles I had loose.
Amazing finds here mate, that Irish jnr is lovely in the box, I have a loose one myself The star pickup is the trackball though, amazing to get one of those, I'd love one myself I also want Hero, amazing pickups, personally they are my favourite videos along with room tours but i would say just make videos about what interests you, i dont watch gameplay videos myself but plenty do I think 👍
Oh yeah, I am am just making video's about what I like! I wouldn't make Atari heavy video's if I was trying to make it big!!! 😂
You've certainly bought some nice Atari here mate, Mash is an awesome find, that's quite rare in my experience Nice Jag finds too, I thinned out my collection on that a bit just to keep my favourite games, but there are some great games on it. I have Power Drive....pretty good game Good luck with the channel, think you made a far better start than I did with my first video 🤣👍
I have watched a lot of your video's but I don't think I've seen your 1st one. I am going to have a look and see if it's still on now!!!!
@@retrosnipe think I deleted that long ago🤣
Top video
Those PS1 games were an absolute steal for £2 each, the boxes would be worth that alone and most of them are decent games too.
There are a couple of cash converters quite local to me that reasonably regularly list PS1 for £2-£3!
@@retrosnipe ah you're lucky, I used to have one across the road from me but it became Money Maker and they put their prices just above CEX now.
Who doesn't love an amazing selection of boxes. Amazing video, looking forward to more.
That SMS box looks fantastic mate. Loving the Evercade and Atari as well. I have the 2600 plus. Really impressed with it so far. I'd love Atari to make a new Jaguar and re-release the games and also put out the home brews.
Thanks man. I love the 2600+, especially as it plays the 7800 too. I have my original Jaguar, if they do re-release any of that I hope it will be distinguishable from the originals. Those 7800 re-releases look a bit too similar for me!
@@retrosnipe That's a good point. They could just put a "compatible with 2600 plus" on the boxes of the new games. Because otherwise some will try and pass them off as originals in as new condition 😕
Good old James in the background there looking in awe at those shiney imagic boxes😁 Looks like a good purchase that, so many sold loose carts having a ton of spare boxes always gotta be handy.
Yeah He's getting bang into Atari at the moment! I already had quite a few loose carts and carts with manuals. Cheers
Middle aged old man here too 😂 Welcome to You Tube mate. Nice to see some lovely Atari cardboard there. Never seen that MASH game before, used to love the TV series. Wow Atari Jaguar games in Cashies, thats pretty awesome 😊👍🐻
Thanks for the nice welcome! I was watching you play a PS2 game earlier rescuing people in a helicopter from explosions with a questionable blast radius😂
Nice to see a new channel pop up, I don't think there are many entering the frey at this point so best of luck with the channel mate. An Atari focused channel sounds good to me, I own an 800 but didn't own and barely played much Atari consoles back in the day, and noy many folk in the UK cover it much so a nice niche which is always welcome. Look forward to watching your future vids 👍
Thanks very much!
