So the fuel was bad? Im having this problem right now but it started to happen just after a refuel. So maybe low quality fuel is the main reason for this problem

So i have an 08 gt and every time i drive it, it limits to 3k rmp for every single gear for example from first to second it only goes up to 3k rpm before engine gets loud and i shift and so on for all gears and idk what is really wrong with it

So! O2 sensor is actually a chip in the computer… I just had a guy in Florida repair mine and the chip for the transmission

Same thing happened to me. I have a 2008 v6. Replaced my fuel pump three times last year. Bought better gas, fuel treatment, new alternator nothing fixed it. Harsh start check engine light and idling was weird. It ended up being my fuel rail injector sensor. Was like $50 on rock auto

Thanks bro i just bought a 06 mustang GT AFTER 150 miles started to misfire ... the change the coils the fix for couple days And doit again....i think i need change the sparkpkugs too

My 05 mustang has this problem, my mechanic change spark plugsand wireset, ignition coil, fuel filter, air filter, and still have the problem, he says he's going to remove the intek 😥

Gas regulator help me alot. My car use to shut off at stops. I changed alot of things . Until the gas regulator fix the issue

It was the fuel filter bro. The mustang I’m driving was doing the same thing but worse.

The red wire on the left side of the car near the battery, what is that. My 06 Mustang has that but I have no idea what it is

Mine only starts when pressing the gas pedal and it dies if I let go . Idk what to do . Has new spark plugs cables fuel injector filters and even the pump . I don't see any vacuum leaks . Even the egr valve it's new .

My 05' mustang was sputtering and misfiring for a couple weeks. Turns out it was my fuel pressure sensor...... however I also replaced my cold air intake at the same time. Unfortunately I didn't screw the clamp tight enough and the same sputtering and misfiring continued. Realized what I did(didn't do) being in a hurry. Anyhow...... tightened the intake securely and everything is perfect now!

It sadly doesn't work for me. Does anyone have a solution?

I sadly didn't find disabled components if anyone can help me with that please do.

IF YOU HAVE POWER ISSUE Just something to add as all the 4.6 have limitations within the throttle, below 3000k you will not have full throttle And over 3000k you will have about 75% of the throttle maybe little more So if you did all of that and didn't feel power increase Get your car tuned you will really regret all the time you have been under ford limits.

I have had a misfire under acceleration off and on since I bought the car. I decided to look at the plugs and they were the wrong plugs. I put a set of the right ones in and it runs like a new one.

I can't find the disabled components folder

My dads 4.6l v8 in his f-150 did that but his oil pump went out and the motor blow up 😊

I’m dealing with that problem right now and I don’t know what it is so I guess I’m gonna try these few things and see what happens

So you fill the tank, but what was the final fix result of this? When you have driven the tank level lower???Did you done other fix?

I see I'm not the only getting my ass kicked with the same issue. I changed the fuel pump which was in the tank. CRC the throttle body. Changed the barometric sensor twice. Changed a coil and spark plug which was barely misfiring. All with no check engine light on. 4 diagnostics check , 3 saying it's the transmission which I'm not accepting. Changed the filter and fluid. All this with no change. Also cleaned the maf sensor.
