Welcome to Bolt-Action Jackson! You've come to the right place if you like immsersive milsim shooters like Easy Red 2, Forgotten Hope 2, Darkest Hour, Hell Let Loose, etc. I also touch on alot of indie titles as well. If it's in the milsim niche, I'm probably going to have a video on it. My goal with this channel is to try and capture cinematic moments from milsim games and perhaps have some reviews on which games are hopefully worth your valuable time!

Cod 2 was my childhood Always tried to find a mod which made it like bf 1942 at that time(like with planes and tanks etc.) But ever since i have started playing this i just felt my wish was completed Just pure cod 2 vibes Glad to know someone else also feels the same as me

Everytime i call in arty it never drops then it cancels for no reason
Really depends on if there's arty available or not on the map. If you made the mission yourself make sure you place a radio next to the manned artillery piece
Is there a way to adjust the screen size go fit my tv?.

Can’t believe this is a ww2 game made by 1 person and it’s way better than cod ww2 and vanguard
Do the AI soldiers know how take cover? -Because i notice in gameplays they look to usually be in open areas when in combat.
The AI has been reworked recently so their behavior is a lot different. I actually just reworked this entire campaign to account for the AI changes. After the rework though the old format I used to set up missions did seem to screw up the recent AI. Should be good now
Is this the best ww2 shooter these days?
I'd say because, even though it's not perfect by any means, it's really been made with love

Yeah its tied to the Modern Warfare mod unfortunately. Hopefully he'll fix it soon!

Yeah it is probably the best part about the game on PC in my opinion

@@WhatsUp-fe8jc I think the community makes the most of the tools the game provides too. There's a plethora of really top tier stuff on the steam workshop for this game. I rarely play vanilla anymore but the vanilla stuff has improved after some of the reworks.
Pros of Easy red 2: it's perfect.... Cons of Easy red 2: air battles are unrealistic
Such a great campaign. Im waiting for more Barbarossa/Soviet content for the game (esp. later stuff, Lenino, Berlin etc.)

Looks can be deceiving. Kind of like that trash trailer team 17 released after they took over and ran HLL into the ground.
Hell let loose may look pretty but it doesn't have planes or singleplayer or a custom map maker or destruction and it doesn't even have a tutorial

There is a color setting in ER2. ( Xbox Series X ) I'm using: balanced. Looks better.
In settings there is a color correction. Proto zoykin is good but dark

I made the map and used Google maps and historical photos to try and recreate it. Imported a height map as well

@@bilalkhichi6554 I mostly play offline. To me this game is a nice single player experience that gives you a hell let loose vibe. Easy to hop in and out and enjoy. That said, I play coop with friends as well from time to time and that's pretty fun too. You only need one or two people to have fun online.

I view it more as a single player game with the added bonus to play online PVP or PvE
