I believe a better solution would be to eliminate the tax rate on lower income workers. All the talk is about the benefit to tipped workers but what about service workers that make lower income but do not have any opportunity to receive any tips. It makes sense to lower tax rates to benefit all wage earners below a certain income level. Think about service workers performing maintenance, janitorial, landscaping, and manual labor.

The only time social security gives an increases is at the end of the year and if social security was going to give an increase they would notify everybody. you won't have to pay attention to some crazy video on the internet I already spoke to social security about this stuff too many sites claiming social security going to get a raise which is false we won't get a raise until the end of the year and that's during the cola only if there's been inflation increase so all you people out there don't believe internet videos or Internet stories about social security increase if you have a question call social security themselves don't pay attention to these dingleberries on the internet they are lying to you social security will never give an increase in the middle of the year

Your calculation is wrong ! Social Security only covers a much smaller percentage of your prior take home pay to begin with ! Second, S.S. inflation calculations on the way the government figures it which is a lie ! Even if you are living on S.S. the purchasing power continues to erode over time. One other thing, Medicare premiums keep going up ! Subtract that from your monthly benefit and then see just how much of an increase the inflation adjustment gives you !

There’s no reason to continue tip reporting if it’s not taxable income.

I’ve been working since the age 14 and I’m a US citizen not to mention a single mother! I had to leave my job due to a two hour commute and being verbally abused. I’ve been searching for a job and the government will not help me out whatsoever! They say “I make too much money” in theory I don’t at all. With the rising cost of everything and no college degree it gets me so sad that others that are not a US citizen, will get everything and anything with no problems and they don’t need to speak English! It’s awful when we have to deal with all these scams as well. So sad and I feel bad for anyone and I send them prayers if in fact they are affected by the scams.

Everybody needs to quit blaming President Biden for all the inflation but everybody forgets one thing because they have a selective of memory the only one I remember certain things when it comes to Donald Trump when Donald Trump raised the turf on all the other countries when when he raised it to 15% for everybody because United States was paying 15% because United States is the largest country that's why we pay the largest amount and I was watching a show on TH-cam and TH-cam had a it was a guy who was explaining government economics how it works how it works it doesn't go by what they sell it goes by the size of the country what they pay for the turf tax some countries should have been paid maybe a percent or more butt but I think all the other countries were paying their fair share between the pandemic in the when Trump raise the 15% for all countries and and blackmail them and extorted them and told them if they don't pay then if they ever get in trouble with any other countries don't expect the United States to build them out fatalities that what they have done for each other country to store these countries to to force them to pay the 15% but he didn't even try to negotiate the 15% you know even if you would raise it up to 12% then that's what a true negotiator would have been but he he's a lousy negotiator because it's either his way or no way at all so that's why and on top of that with the pandemic that the country is closing down in other countries closing down as well and the price gouging that's why the everything of the inflation has went up everybody wants to point the finger at the president of the United States who's in charge now but they don't want to really give you the truth about who's responsible for it even if Trump would have won we would still be in the same situation it would have made a difference the only reason why everybody's blaming Joe Biden because Joe Biden is the president he has lowered some things but some things are staying the same so I think the people need to know the real truth about the inflation not a fantasy story because there was multiple factors why the inflation happen you had Trump will raise the the turf tax to 15% then you at the pandemic then you had the countries were shutting down then you had the price gougingall these factors took place why the inflation happen and why you don't want to tell the truth about all of this stuff going on and ignoring the facts and just giving your point of view and who's responsible and trying to point fingers who's responsible but I'm not excusing by any means because when he taken office he could have reversed what Trump did for the turf tax and brought in the inflation down even when they were doing the price gouging and when they had to shut the the countries down but I think if he would reverse it then I think some of the things would have stayed down and some things would have went up but not as much as what it did

Any stimulus or extra increase to social security must first pass Congress and be assured that it will be all over the news media !

What about th one's who are disabled...how is a disabled person supposed to live on this minimal amount...I wish somebody else coukd explain that to me... The Social Security website says that it's false.

Why are they even allowing these videos with misleading & false information on the web? It wasn't just 1 or 2 the web was flooded with them! I think it's cruel when so many people are struggling due to the ridiculous amount of inflation currently going on. People that are recipients of Social Security can barely afford to purchase food and skip meals in order to pay there rent & utilities! The numerous amounts of misleading videos that are currently in circulation are giving people false hope and it's extremely cruel in my opinion they should all be flagged & taken down! Truth of the matter is Social Security payments should be raised. I don't know were there getting there numbers from regarding the cost of living but I can tell you there way off! Some States cost more to live in example Alaska were I reside costs are ridiculously higher then other States yet recipients of Social Security get the same amount as less expensive States to live in. People cannot survive on there Social Security payments it's impossible.
