Sporigins - Cell Editor Preview
For a while, I've been working on this game - Sporigins.
It's a Spore cell-stage remake, with its own (hopefully robust) cell editor.
This video shows off the editor a bit.

Spore mod - Status Effect weapons

Another part of a larger mod I'm making. This example shows stunning things and poisoning them in particular - I plan on probably adding more in the future, such as an effect that high-level defender spaceships get which makes them harder to kill.
Spore mod - Custom weapons for archetypes

As part of a larger mod, I've coded in the ability for different archetypes to have different main weapons. Shown in this example are the Zealot and Shaman tools I've currently coded - Zealots get a Pulse-like tool that does increased damage to buildings, while the Shaman tool is strong but has a delay at the start for charging up.
Spore mod - Research Panel

As another part of a larger mod, I've been working on a research menu for the game. You get "research points" over time based on how many colonies you have, and you will be able to use these points to research new tools.
Spore mod - Improved NPC spaceship weapons

As part of a larger mod, I've buffed NPC spaceships quite a bit. In particular; the spaceships' close-range lasers now damage the player's shield if a shield tool is in use; prematurely removing it if enough damage is gained. (Higher-level ships such as the Grox deal more damage to the shield.) Alongside this, the ships have gained a warp-cannon; if you're too far out of range of their other at...
Randomised Cell Stage (Proof-of-concept)

Still got a lot of work to do, so that Spore actually chooses the correct cells in some cases. Also, got to make it so that cells in the later levels are randomised. Until then though, this is remaining as a proof-of-concept.

Made a Spore mod to add an extra, custom planet to the generator. More info coming... eventually. Also, sorry for the low video quality. I accidentally set the bitrate in OBS to be too low.

This is actually my own game that I'm making in Gamemaker - it's not a Spore mod, so I coded all of the functionality myself.

You should try to make a mod that pollinates user made cells without replacing the Maxis ones (I know it's probably not possible, but it's worth a try).

The best way to survive this is to only have omnivore mouths. no speed because omnivore can penetrate stuff and a advantage since you can also have plants

What kind of moron created something this stupid? It's virtually unplayable. This kind of crap is one of the many reasons I don't use mods.
I did, and for that very reason - to make something stupid and funny. Most mods are not like this; saying that this mod is representative of them all is like saying that the Tribal Stage in its infinite jank and lack of quality represents Spore as a whole, when the editors are so much better.
