Also, after we've milled your wood you need to have it dried, why not have it dried here too!? Thats right, we mill, we dry, we even build furniture. We know exactly the best methods and techniques to mill wood from a woodworkers perspective to maximize output and quality from your logs.

I’d put a thicker coat it looks nice but from the last angle you can see the spray pattern just but hey it looks nice
I'm really surprised that they survived so long. I don't see any system for constant lubrication them 😅. That kind of problems I have after 200 work hours without lubrication. Which is half of month
Lol good one :P
Cool to see the local TH-camrs doing local commercials!
I see why you had a problem. The holes in the rail where the screws go should have covers over each screw to prevent debris from getting into the slide.
Made your own stencil and drill jig?
What to do with fresh log cracking and insects eating it?
Thanks mate for this video
Matt, thank you for saying pee-can instead of pa-caan. American by birth, Southern by the grace of God.❤
Just made my first alaskan mill slab today
Isn’t that too hot?
Funny as hell!
هل يمكنك بمزيد من معلومات عن تجفيف الاخشاب
لا يفهمون العرب . لكن يجب التخلص من الماء الموجود في الخشب او الندوة بالتونسي
Hahahaha, this was great
The honor of being first to comment! Looks fun, keep up the good work!
What do you think the minimum amount of time (@160 degrees) is to kill the bugs, assuming the wood is already dried?
Are these 20MM rails??
For wood the completely enough, 20 mm
ANYONE WHO IS LOOKING FOR A NYLE 1200S KILN SYSTEM I HAVE 2 SYSTEMS COMPLETE WITH DUCT WORK LET ME KNOW IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED. THANKS Im looking for 15k each obo
Great looking build!
Is that furniture butter?
Well, thank you for this. While my Avid doesn't have the use yours the bearings are a concern.
Lol, awesome video!!
In the middle of flattening some slabs right now. Would you say that you were experiencing random “gouging” in the slabs from your bit? It sounds like my y axis skips/shudders at random and that results in gouging the slab. Thanks for posting this video! Super informative!!
Dude, that was epic! Best commercial TH-cam has shown me, ever! Wish you were closer to salisbury, nc. I've got slabs that need drying.
😂😂😂. 👍👍👍
I don't have words to describe how awesome this is! Do you ship to Australia 🤣🤣 Great use of Suman, Jon and Scott! Serious question though, what's the need to seal the log? Genuinely curious.
That would be pricey shipping! Sealing the ends helps to ensure logs and boards don’t dry out on the ends too quickly. Without sealing you have increased likelihood of end-checking due to drying stresses. It’s more important with higher density wood species as well.
That’s the first time I’ve seen Jon use hand tools. Who is the guy with long hair?
Mustache hair?
Love it!
You did great 👍 ❤❤😊
Bit?
I love this bench. So freaking beautiful 🤩
Did it have take a long time process to craving the mould ? can i have your advice, on how im going to speeding the mould craving process
Speak English
What are you making in this glue up? (Besides a video😅)
Very good advice 😊
Cemetery gate has always been such a great song.
Did the same thing years ago for outdoor structure. Never again
I always get a kick out of how "spalted" is sought after even though coloration is from fungi breaking the wood down.
Lol yup, def sounds better than saying “semi-rotted wood”
@@m2lumber I tell customers it is a rare deap tone of the summer grain, and no two boards could ever be matched. My higher end customers love it. 🤪
Opie. You’ve grown up well.
Thank you?
Very nice grain structure. What species of tree are they from? Mark from Melbourne Australia
This is sweetgum
I’m still laughing. Great video. Give your daughter a high five. She steals the show!
Always! 😅
Sweet Emotion
Hubba hubba those are amazing
Bless you all ty 😊 🙏
Great video matt, just curious, I do tons of woodworking so where in SC are y'all at sir?
We are in Laurens SC
@@m2lumber Thank you sir, hope to be seeing you soon !
I’m up in Asheville nc. Do you carry popular and soft maple?
Go tigers!
GORGEOUS!
Great job and how-to. What router bit is that?
Great video, concise and walks you through your process and love your narrating. Very informative, relaxing, and came out very nice! Thanks!!
Thanks 🙏
Except when you need green. I'm building a kayak right now. Green white oak for the ribs. Rip to 1" x 1/4" strips and keep wet. Watch the waste warp into the worst shapes possible. Steam and bend into a beautifully contoured hull. But legit, y'all might be worth the drive from the coast now that Ashley River Lumber is no more.
True, there are some rare exceptions where you want green wood…to be fair though, I’m sure you’d still prefer it not be full of bugs!
This was great! Nice job dude!
Thanks man 😁
