Welcome to my channel. You are AMAZING! The goal of this channel is to go on a journey of love and acceptance! There is more to life than problems, circumstances, and issues. You can live your reality out of the illusion that we call life. Could you do that with me? Can you let go and be present, even for just a moment? Let's go into a magical world of what's possible!

Lost And Alone 😬 | Solo Traveler Biggest Mistake | NO PHONE | Quiet Retreat🤫🤐 #california #travel
I traveled alone to a quiet retreat in Julian, CA for 7 days where I had to be quiet and tune in. I took an adventurous trail walk without a phone or any technology besides the camera. I got lost and was all alone for hours. I learned a lot about myself but more importantly one should never travel without a phone. I wouldn't change the experience but I wouldn't travel that way again, lol.
The retreat is Quiet Mind Mountain Retreat.

How corrupt are they cops
@@bventura68 I can’t say how far they will go or that they are all corrupt. I can only say I was there for a week and we were robbed twice by two different cops so🤷🏽♀️

@@gisellepeguero9953 haha! Thanks for watching! I’m going back in January to explore the other sides! I loved it so much there.
Honestly, as someone who's been to Cabo, ALOT of negatives could've been avoided by simply doing research in advance. Book excursions in advance, as well as know what your resort offers. When my cousins and I went, we used Uber to get around. The resort offered modes of transportation as well (Hacienda del mar). At restaurants accept tap water, it's free! None of my family members got sick, and it'll save you money. Overall, everyone was accepting of me(and my family), and we were accepting of them. We had a great time! Though everyone's experience will be different of course.
I replied to this in detail but for some reason, it didn't go through. Thanks for commenting and I understand everyone experience is different, but I did mention the people were beautiful and kind. I also mentioned they had amazing excursions and we had a ball on all of them, as well as amazing nightlife. Research can only take you so far, a lot of the scammy extra deposits and stuff were because we declined ridiculous made-up charges. (that won't pop up on Google or Expedia or the company's website) Maybe we should've taken Ubers like you and your family and we could've avoided the crooked cops altogether. We had a ball there, but after visiting 6 different parts of Mexico at this point, Cabo was our least favorite. Thanks again for giving a different perspective. 😁
Always go for the fun is great advice!
Please break down the story of corrupt cops
Hello Beautiful. Thanks for subscribing. For me I was driving in a rental and a motorcycle cop pulled me over. He only spoke Spanish (I know a lot of Spanish but was unclear why he pulled me over) I gave him my license. He said he had a family and would let me go for a few hundred dollars. I declined. He said follow him to the station and refused to give me my license back. I asked him to just give me a ticket. He said no, I would have to follow him to the police station. He said just give him the money and I could get my license back and go. I negotiated him down to $200 because I was on my way to the camel tour and didn't have time to go to the station. He took the money and left. My partner was tequila tasting at a tequila store. A cop walked in and drank tequila as well. My partner left after a few tastings and walked to the car. The cop followed and before he got in the car , he told him that he was arresting him for about to drink and drive. He took his wallet which had about $800 in it and his diamond chains and made him drive behind him to the police station where he sat for 3 hours. They eventually let him go but kept all the money and gave him back an empty wallet. My partner asked for the jewelry back (he don't speak Spanish) after about another hour, they returned the jewelry but said he didn't have any money. So he left the police station with no money. This was our experience with the police
Thank you for the video as I will be scouting there soon and plan to move there if I like it. The information was truly valuable for me and my upcoming trip. It looks like u stayed in the city and didn’t venture outside.
@@seizeself-loveself-care9869 yes I didn’t get to visit any other areas besides the city and the rainforest area. I will be returning in January to explore different areas🙌🏾. Thanks for watching 💕

Omg. Coming solo to Los Cabos in few days, now im scared to go out in the resorts. i really want to do the camel and atv…😢

Ok I guess I’m just gonna hang out at the resort then
@@Phlegethon from the stories I’ve heard and including mines, it’s usually involving the traffic cops. I think walking to the tourist area should be fine.
I also live in sd now tj. I have been all over mex from the carribean sea to the pacific. Took a bus across the entire nation. Flew from tj to cdmx to cancun and back. Have you been to Cozumel? Cancun, Playas and Cozumel, Isla Mujers is all close together. I lived there in the pandemic. Had a 3 story mansion in Cancun for $500 a month. Marble floors ect. I have never been robbed. Lived Mex 6 years. I have seen them demand a small bribe from my brother n law but it was only a couple of dollars as they knew they were poor. So they do it to locals too. Keep on traveling. You may want to have separate channels for separate themes and keep one theme per channel. You did a good job on Cabo. I have lived there and what you said is accurate. I simply walk through the aggresive sales people. Had my first trip ruined by being too nice to the time share sharks. Didnt fall for it the next time. I prefer to visit hot places off season. I cant take the heat. Im a snow bird. Thank you for the vid. It is accurate. I think you should do more travel vids. You did a good job and I know its more difficult than it looks and time consuming. Have fun. God bless you.
Never. Thank God. I have seen a headless man with his hands bound behind his back in the tj river early on a Sun am. I saw the police in Hidalgo deal with a violent drunk by picking him up and then dropping him down to the pavement. They do not play. I have had zero bad experiences in Mex. Im extremely protected by Christ Jesus where ever I go and I dont take Him for granted. You could really expand your channel by traveling. People love travel. I research before I ever go anywhere. You have a gift for that. Go for it.
@@keyliving3071 hi and thanks for taking the time to comment. Yes I’ve been to TJ, Cozumel, playa del Carmen, and ensañada. I’ve always traveled freely and never expect anything to happen. Cabo is the only place is Mexico that i visited with that scammy, take your money vibe that I personally encountered. I wish I had recorded more of my travel videos but I was a bit shy on TH-cam at the time! I agree with you about making my channel one theme. This channel will only be for traveling and I’m starting a new page for my other content. I was thinking of living in Mexico for 6 months out of the year. Care to share what area you lived in for $500?
Also, those purse holders are interesting. Like 10 years ago in Cabo my gf’s mom’s purse got stolen by the staff in a restaurant. They’re really sneaky. Told myself I’d never go back yet here i am going back this winter
🤣 at you going back this winter. I never thought about the purse holders, but now that you mentioned it, it would be an easy way to steal your money. Have fun while you are there, at least you know what you know.

@@akikireynolds9371 hi I’m so sorry but my partner didn’t want to re-live the experience. As much as I wanted to share he just wanted to forget about it. My main advice would be to watch out for the traffic cops and stay in the tourist area.

What hotel did you stay in Cabo?
@@cheryljenkins7230 Grand Solmar and I enjoyed my stay there and it was walking distance to all the action. Just keep in mind they have 3 hotels at the same location, I would recommend grand solmar over Solmar if you can, it cost a bit more but it’s worth it.
Fantastic video! Very well done! Very helpful. Please tell us about what happened with the police. I know that the federales are corrupt, they always have been. But, I've also heard that Cabo was really safe. Considering how dependent they are on tourists, you'd think the federales would leave tourists alone.
Thanks. I would say that Cabo does have a safe feel. You can walk freely at night and not feel threatened. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for the police.
Cabo is just dirty place…with beautiful Beaches …
