7 Things I wish I knew BEFORE Visiting The Bahamas 🇧🇸 | MUST WATCH to the end #nassaubahamas #travel
Thanks for watching! This video tells you everything you need to know about a day trip to Nassau Bahamas. In this video, I will show you things to do in Nassau Bahamas. Along with ways to save money and how not to fall for tourist traps
We came off the Carnival Glory Cruise ship which departed from Orlando Florida.
The beach we enjoyed was called Jankanoo Beach on West Bay Street. You can support locals at the World Famous Bahamas Straw Market which is about 6-8 minutes from the cruise terminal. Señor Frogs also pronounced as Senor Frogs is a popular spot in Nassau with a DJ and a very fun vibe
We decided not to participate in any excursions because they were mostly based on swimming with pigs, which didn't interest us.

    Cabo is so expensive now...we call it "San Diego South"... I used to stay in Los Cabos now we go up the East or West cape and get outta town. If you get US dollars out of an ATM you will get ripped off by the bank AND ATM....take the Pesos return home with them and just return them to your bank. They take them back and will credit your account at the best rate. Always use Peso's when possible you get the biggest bang for your buck. Honestly, as someone who's been to Cabo, ALOT of negatives could've been avoided by simply doing research in advance. Book excursions in advance, as well as know what your resort offers. When my cousins and I went, we used Uber to get around. The resort offered modes of transportation as well (Hacienda del mar). At restaurants accept tap water, it's free! None of my family members got sick, and it'll save you money. Overall, everyone was accepting of me(and my family), and we were accepting of them. We had a great time! Though everyone's experience will be different of course.

    • @SunniT.Connor
      @SunniT.Connor 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I replied to this in detail but for some reason, it didn't go through. Thanks for commenting and I understand everyone experience is different, but I did mention the people were beautiful and kind. I also mentioned they had amazing excursions and we had a ball on all of them, as well as amazing nightlife. Research can only take you so far, a lot of the scammy extra deposits and stuff were because we declined ridiculous made-up charges. (that won't pop up on Google or Expedia or the company's website) Maybe we should've taken Ubers like you and your family and we could've avoided the crooked cops altogether. We had a ball there, but after visiting 6 different parts of Mexico at this point, Cabo was our least favorite. Thanks again for giving a different perspective. 😁

      @OldSchoolPrepper หลายเดือนก่อน

      "tap water' in Mexico is actually water drawn from the 5 gallon container (think "water cooler") so tap water isn't tap water. When in a restaurant just ask for "Agua en un Vasso" water in a glass or a glass of water which will be purified.

      Hello Beautiful. Thanks for subscribing. For me I was driving in a rental and a motorcycle cop pulled me over. He only spoke Spanish (I know a lot of Spanish but was unclear why he pulled me over) I gave him my license. He said he had a family and would let me go for a few hundred dollars. I declined. He said follow him to the station and refused to give me my license back. I asked him to just give me a ticket. He said no, I would have to follow him to the police station. He said just give him the money and I could get my license back and go. I negotiated him down to $200 because I was on my way to the camel tour and didn't have time to go to the station. He took the money and left. My partner was tequila tasting at a tequila store. A cop walked in and drank tequila as well. My partner left after a few tastings and walked to the car. The cop followed and before he got in the car , he told him that he was arresting him for about to drink and drive. He took his wallet which had about $800 in it and his diamond chains and made him drive behind him to the police station where he sat for 3 hours. They eventually let him go but kept all the money and gave him back an empty wallet. My partner asked for the jewelry back (he don't speak Spanish) after about another hour, they returned the jewelry but said he didn't have any money. So he left the police station with no money. This was our experience with the police
