A video of 'Team Trionium' - Rob McCaffrey and Simon Booth - first-timers at The OMM (Original Mountain Marathon) held in Snowdonia, with race base in the village of Bethesda. We did the 'short' Linear B course, with a list of controls to be visited in order. First day distance run was 22km, with 1443m of ascent. Second day distance run was 17km, with 1106m of ascent.

Dear friends, Can you please explain the pros and cons of the Annapurna Circuit trek?? Discuss please
Pros - Great scenery, culture, teahouses, paths and bridges. Ready for trekkers. Cons - Altitude, possible bad weather, illness due to contaminated water/food. Can get quite busy in the height of the trekking season (so I hear). Essentially, similar to many other places in Nepal.
@@doktorob toilet option. Because we are going on that trek on April 20, 2024. It will be a 16 day Trek.
Kindly share your experience about the toilet in the tea house and on the trail.
They range from clean flush toilets, to basically a hole in the ground. Do not expect luxury! Toilets on the trail at tea-stops, usually very basic. People cope!@@arpankumarsen11
How many humans have been kicked in the years this has been held? I feel like there isn’t enough space for the runners and riders. Many people don’t have any idea how far a horse can actually kick out!

You don't need to open the connect - you need to open the door - to get to the bonnet release catch!

Hmmm...your circuit is about half (maybe less) of the actual circuit. Sad to give the impression that this is the actual circuit.
This was 'our' Annapurna Circuit, not the fabled 'full' AC of the 1960s, which no longer exists in its older form (no thanks to walking next to the busy dusty roads that have been built since).
Did I see one of the presenters of global triathlon network at the start.

Cool race,but the horse riders need to wait at least half hour,to an hour, to allow all the runners a good start. 🇦🇺
The horses are actually required to stop and rest during the race, getting their pulse down, and being examined by a vet to be sure they're fit to continue. Runners can cross the line limping, bleeding, and dehydrated, but horses are pulled if the vet sees any issues. I can't recall the exact amount of time the horses are held, but I believe it's at LEAST 45 minutes. So though 4 people have won the race, I think only 1 has beaten the winning horses actual time. Still an awesome, impressive feat!! I'd love to both run and ride in this event!!
Me and my brothers carry our sisters either piggyback or sitting on our shoulders, like in shallow water or beach. It's fun!
