    Are dental contracts between dentists and payers called, 'Dental Service Agreements?' In researching dentist / payer contracts I continue to land on these agreements. I want to ensure terms for 'agreement' and 'contract' are interchangeable.

    Modern science proves that ingested fluoride is ineffective at reducing tooth decay and is harmful to health. This means that consuming a fluoride-free diet doesn't cause cavities. Rotten diets make rotten teeth. Like all drugs, fluoride has side effect - some of them very serious. So in other words every dentist can make his own rules It will be the cheapest route possible Initially staff will get sick then they will fork out for better protection

    • @keithsikora164
      @keithsikora164 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Where does anything say "every dentist will make their own rules'? We ALL already abide by very stringent infection control protocols and sterilization testing and monitoring. We are required to provide our staff members with proper PPEs at no charge. But... its obvious that YOU do not work in healthcare otherwise you would know that there is no 100% guarantee of never getting infected or sick in dealing with patients. It is a fact! It is a risk that all of us know and accept when we decide to pursue a career in any health related field. That's why we follow guidelines, recommendations, get yearly training, etc, etc, etc. But you're too simple minded to actually know any facts. Sad.

    • @avanoelle2805
      @avanoelle2805 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      KEITH SIKORA I do know the facts, that’s why we need to act with caution I’m sorry that Greed is driving you. I’m a healthcare worker, not an infectious disease nurse. I would never go to someone as assnine as you for any type of work. I have 30 years in health care and have never seen anything like this. You can’t sterilize the aerosol created in a dental office, many doctors hygienists and patients will die if we don’t do rapid testing first. I feel sorry for your family that you are such an ass and will blindly bring this home . By the way there are no clear guidelines from cdc ada or oasha as of yet. You can forgo a respirator for someone else who deserves it. Before you insult someone find out who you are talking to instead of throwing insults to further your cause . You are sad and dangerous to work for .

    • @keithsikora164
      @keithsikora164 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes... unless we work in PUBLIC HEALTH or ACADEMIA we are all singularly motivated by GREED. That is the typical response from the weak minded and Braun washed who want to live in a fantasy world of lollipops and unicorns. Typical that you care so much for others but wish I’ll upon me and mine. Typical that you also cannot leave any room for debate or dissent. Typical that you cannot fathom that others disagree with you for good motives. Typical that you must assign MONEY as the reason why dentists, physicians, and many, many others in the healthcare fields feel that we need to be able to once again see and treat patients without the GOVERNORS threat to suspend our licenses. I guess you can stay home, locked indoors for a year or two until maybe a vaccine is developed and I’ll assume that you will want to FORCIBLY VACCINATE everyone since you know what is best for everyone. If you are a healthcare provider I certainly hope that you are not an ER NURSE or ER DOCTOR... I personally know both... if they had you’re attitude.... many thousands and thousands would have died. Please let me know where you work so that I can avoid ever coming under your care.

    Boo Only doctors are driven by their wallet not public health

    • @keithsikora164
      @keithsikora164 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Doctors and Dentists are driven to care for our patients as we are trained to do. Economics are also a factor. The State and Federal governments cannot keep sending out checks to everybody indefinitely. This crisis ahs already cost in the neighborhood of 7 TRILLION dollars that NO ONE HAS!! Besides - look at the numbers -- look specifically at the numbers outside of Wayne, Macomb, Oakland, Washtenaw, Genessee and Saginaw counties. There is little infection and even less deaths in all the 85% of MI. Residents there are suffering in numerous ways because the GOVERNOR has a one size fits all mentality on dealing with this crisis. Why did she restart MANUFACTURING and CONSTRUCTION but not healthcare? Unions? Favors? Voting blocks? Its certainly not based on science. YOU are simple minded if you think RICH doctors want to put patients lives at risk... quite the opposite.... we are concerned that this illogical lockdown is hurting the health and the welfare or our patients.

      WTF!!! This is what we do! This is part of DENTISTRY - WE are healthcare workers. I'm not advocating treating known infected patients, but we all treat ppl who potentially have TB, Hepatitis, the FLU, HIV/AIDS, etc, etc. If you are not comfortable with at some point soon going back to work... caring for patients.... I humbly suggest that you consider a career change to something less people oriented.

      @@theresa8647 NOT joking! And - BLUNTLY - you chose the wrong career path. You do not deserve to work in HEALTHCARE with your attitude and lack of empathy & understanding. First...you obviously do not understand the nature of this virus. WHO is at greatest risk and WHAT we can do to minimize those risks. Secondly...you certainly do NOT understand what it means to be a Healthcare provider - there is RISK every single day that we work and see patients. Unsure if you're a dentist, an RDH, or a RDA... but if you're any of those... turn in your license and get a job selling insurance or something like that because you do our profession a grave disservice by having the attitude towards CARING for the public that you do.

    Thank you President Gingrich for your report. Unfortunately, Dentists in the state of Michigan have to convince Dr. Joneigh Khaldun that we are ready to go back to work. Her text from EO 2020-17 projects a very primitive concept of Dentistry's role in health care. She needs to know that Michigan Dentists are much more than Cosmetologists!

  • @keithsikora164
    @keithsikora164 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Pres Gingrich fails to mention or take a stand regarding the ILLEGALITY and UNCONSTITUTIONAL extension of the 2 EOs that extend the SOE. BOTH houses of the MI State legislature rejected her request to extend the STATE of EMERGENCY (SOE).. so she ignored that rejection and issued the EOs without the required support and approval of the State Senators and State Representatives - so in my opinion the newest EOs are unjust and illegal and are therefore NULL and VOID and cannot be enforced. I also know that State Rep has file suit against her to challenge and publicly prove that she has overstepped her authority and "gone rogue'. Its good to hear the the MDA is doing something... but sending a letter seems... inadequate at best. Member dentists pay dues to support lobbyists - do they have the ears of the Legislature? Have they asked for a face-to-face with Mrs Whitmer? We need to be able to care for our patients more comprehensively - NOT in a month... NOT in 6 weeks. NOW - or at least very very soon! It is ESSENTIAL that we are able to treat patients for EMERGENCIES... but it is even MORE ESSENTIAL: that we be able to PREVENT EMERGENCIES... keep our patients out of PAIN and free from INFECTIONS rather than just retroactive care for them after the problems arise. DENTISTRY is perhaps MOST versed in INFECTION CONTROL among HEALTHCARE. We work in patients' mouths EVERYDAY! We assume that everyone has some kind of disease and act accordingly - its called STANDARD PRECAUTIONS! We treat everyone the same - like everyone can infect us or others with HIV, TB, HepC, Influenza, SARS... and now... CV19. I'm not saying we should be doing full mouth cosmetic cases, but let us do what we are already trained to do and care for our patients.

    • @danielpeters5361
      @danielpeters5361 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Is it not for the courts to decide the legality of the Executive Orders? Keith, one thing that I can assure you of is that the MDA staff, Board, and lobbyists have been in contact with the Governor and Legislature daily right from the beginning. I've seen it with my own eyes. There is no way that you can have any idea the time and effort that the MDA has put into this. The MDA Executive Office, the Human Resources Division, the Government and Insurance Affairs Division, President Gingich, Immediate Past-President Peters, President-Elect Meraw, and the rest of the Board have been incredible advocates for the 5900 MDA members. They deserve nothing but our heartfelt thanks.

    • @keithsikora164
      @keithsikora164 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@danielpeters5361 I guess I need to see the MDA say out-right ... "DENTISTS need to be able to go back to caring for their patients NOW". Pres GINGRICH has not taken that position here. NONE of the updates nor emails have once said that they are advocating for us to open NOW. They simply are accepting what Gov Whitmer has ILLEGALLY mandated. Have they joined the lawsuit challenging the legality of her EOs that keep us from using our training and experience to navigate this infection? No. Have many other businesses been allowed to remain open and operate virtually unfettered because she deems them essential? Yet DENTISTRY is told we are NOT ESSENTIAL... we are told to shut our doors... BUT we're also told to treat our patients retroactively for their pain and infections and accidents. Sure - thanks MDA for the same info almost day in and day out. BUT... they also deserve to be told to DO BETTER for us. FIGHT for our interests. I have also seen with my own eyes Pres Gingrinch and Josh Kluzak refuse to take action on important issues that actually matter to PVT PRACTICE dentists - directly to my face and in no uncertain terms. MY impression is that they are simply accepting whatever the GOV dictates and passing the word down to us.

    • @danielpeters5361
      @danielpeters5361 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@keithsikora164 I'll respectfully agree to disagree. It is your opinion that the mandates that the Governor has brought forth are illegal. I maintain that your personal opinion or my personal opinion do not matter one bit. It is for the court to decide. Any reasonable person can clearly see the confusion that the 1945 and 1976 laws create. If you want to point a finger of blame, I suggest you point it at the Michigan Legislature who left these laws on the books.

    • @keithsikora164
      @keithsikora164 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I point a finger at Gov Whitmer for requesting permission to extend the SOE but the ignoring the right and decision of the legislature and ignoring their refusal. Why did she even bother asking if SHE KNOWS BETTER. That POLITICAL DECISION affects me and my patients. It affects other dentists and their patients. I speak up challenging BOTH Gov Whitner and the MDA because I want what is best for ME and MY PATIENTS. Please... exactly ... specifically what has the MDA accomplished for MI MEMBER DENTISTS? PRES Gingrich’s speech is nice... it’s typical - “we’re here for you. We’re working for you. We’ll get through this together.” But what have they accomplished other than being a PR Firm for the GOV?
