My HP server power supply 24 pin connector has no pins in position 14 and position 20. The new cooler master power supply has a -12v pin at position 14 of the 24 pin connector. What is the effect of adding -12v to the motherboard? Should I disconnect the wire to pin 14 (-12v)?

thats an LGA CPU, (Land Grid Array) normally used by intel and some by AMD, the opposite is PGA (Pin Grid Array) where the pins are on the CPU
