      I actually did, the hydro pump is a little quieter and high gear has a tad more grunt. I assume it's due to the full synthetic engine oil and the better Mobil 424 oil. Not much, but i do notice it.

    Great video. I have the cab version of this tractor and while it did okay doing loader work, after watching your videos on wheel spacers i added 2" to the rear and 1.5" to the front. In the process I discovered that my dealer didn't put ballast in the rear tires like they said they would. They did a LOT of other stuff for me some of it for free. So i can't complain. I filled the rear tires with water and dang dude it rides sooo much better now and much more stable than before. Also the tires were inflated to 40psi. Theyre at 15-20psi now. Huge improvement! Cant wait to see your hp increase mod. Im hesitant to do the same until the warranty expires

    • @BaznastyDave

      I've been debating on doing the shim removal and the fuel or just the fuel. Decided to just do just the fuel since that's what most people will likely do. High gear is the only bad thing on the tractor power wise, another 5hp or so should fix that. I'll be testing exhaust temps before/after as well.

    Cool video, I have the same tractor with 214hrs just did engine oil change on it a few days ago. On the fuel filter mines was dirty so I cleaned the bowl it added new filter snugged but then backed off a hair and opened the valve to fill the bowl worked great. Also just turn bucket of oil with spout at top when pouring works great. My 1.5gal engine oil was out of a 5 gal bucket of Rotella t 15 w40. Waiting on the video of you turning that Kioti up! Your hydraulic fiter sure came off a lot easier than mine did. I was really surprised how easy it would tip without having ballast while using the loader. I've got 100 hrs on mine. So far so good. 👍

    • @BaznastyDave
      @BaznastyDave หลายเดือนก่อน

      Fill your rear tires up with ballast, it defiantly helps and i have a video on it. Mine isn't as bad as a sub-compact tractor, but it still needs at least a scrape blade on the rear to keep it on the ground with a heaped bucket of dirt. The piranha tooth bar i have on it made the bucket a few inches deeper so it holds more dirt than stock.

    NONSENSE: Claim at 7 minutes.... "No way I can do that before...." Show us the POINT OF TIPPING. Do it without spacers and with spacers. The DIFFERENCE is negligible. Also do it with an empty bucket and a full bucket, at different heights. Good luck. ha ha ha

      Thanks for the comment. I'm actually working on a video about showing how much the spacers helped. I'm going to use a crane scale and measure in pounds how much more force is needed to tip the tractor. I'm still trying to figure out a way to measure it in degrees of slope. Unfortunately for me, I'm going to have to remove all 4 spacers, test, and put them all back on to test again. Should make for an interesting video.

      @@BaznastyDave It is NOT about how much force to lift the tractor from LEVEL ground, but at what ANGLE is the tipping point. The difference of ANGLE when fully tilted to tip-over, is the crucial data. Tip over during actual use is often dependent on terrain , obstacles and angle.

      @@BaznastyDave What I believe most people relate to, when mowing on a level surface and a rear tire hits a 6" boulder, tipping is less likely with the wider stance. This situation is more difficult to prove, unless one installs anti-tip over wheels? I suppose one would have to increase boulder size, until the BX actually rolls over center and would tip?

      They do add a small margin for error. Personally I'd stay the hell off a side hill like that.

      @stephenoffiler8024 Yes, the slope usually isn't the problem, it is the uneveness of the surface that will throw you past the tipping point.

    Ballasting tires should only be done on machines with a mechanical drive train, Hydostatic drives, it will kill your machine, it's not made to move that much weight or stop that much weight this is why it is usually done on large loaders, graders etc... and if you are going to do, use beet juice, wont rust rims and wont freeze

      You do understand the hydro drive can’t tell the difference between weighted tires and a loaded bucket right 😏

      Nothing you said is true. I have a John Deere 4 series, with a hydro transmission. It tells you right in the John Deere manual to add liquid ballast to the tires or you will not be able to lift full capacity on your bucket. Washer fluid is non corrosive and will actually protect the rim from rusting.

    Rim guard or bust! All the other stuff will screw up your wheels eventually. If done right it won't be leaking for roadside animals to lick, never heard that before.
