Yeah I can make something like that when I get back. Your biggest sources of spirit are sceptre and ascendency so don't sleep on them. Other sources include amulet and chest which have not only explicit rolls but also have a base type that provides more spirit as an implicit

I'm not a fan of Doryani's Prototype in it's current form as there just arent enough tools yet to properly mitigate the downside (which is you have no lightning res). Running the chest in its current form, we only have about 36% damage reduction for lightning on the infernalist through damage conversion and redirection. This means that lightning damage (which has many sources, including map mods) will lead to frequent deaths especially with anything other than a very high budget setup where you kill mobs before they can kill you.

Very expensive and the upside isn’t worth the loss in defence. You need ingenuity with a good roll, and two ventor rings with at least negative lightning 40% with positive fire and cold, plus you want spirit and rarity too. That’s like 50-100 divines just on those 3 items for a squishier version. Also you need a new witch since you don’t want the lightning shrines to be active. It’s just not worth the setup and costs

I would say when you have about 6ish levels of minion skills coming from your equipment and can have get 4 support gems on them (greater jeweler orb) is a safe time to swap

You only need 1 storm mage from the setup with Conduction support. Its job is to apply exposure and a big shock. Other than that one you just want a few Clerics then the rest will ve storm mages in your main dps setup

You should be able to. You would just have a lower storm mage count, but the plus side is you should have more dps per storm mage as a titan thanks to the 50% passive node

My setup uses supercritical instead of lighting pen because I have alot of minion crit chance with jewels. I would not recommend using elemental focus because then you will have bad shock uptime on bosses (it could take your shock mage more than a few seconds to apply the shock) If you watch the fight with the Iron Citadel boss I dont get the big shock* until he was almost phased, but I had the shock of my others always up Edit: Typo

I didn't take Arsonists to this level of investment, so its hard to say, but on the lower levels, Arsonist definitely outperformed them

Yeah the nerfs without buffs or changes have definitely been frustrating for alot of people, even the storm mages were hit by the change to Considered Casting only being usable by players now. Hopefully we start getting buffs when GGG get back in Office next year

Lol bold of you to assume I've made 1000 exalts XD, Naa im on a high budget version but even then i've spent maybe 300 exalts? and that is because 6L is now expensive, And I used a 5L for a while, used it on expedition boss back with 5L as well no issues. But naturally the more you invest the more damage you will get from them

Are you talking about the maxroll planner? it has perfect items, I dont expect you to have perfect gear nor do I have perfect gear. My current sceptre (which is better than the one in the video) I bought last night for 2d. My amulet I bought 50ex when i was making my Arsonist build, Its only +1 level so it is def not 10+ div lol Edit: I say specifically in the video and in the planner that I am just highlighting the stats to look for on each item

@HehehexDD its called inflation and its pretty bad in poe2. i bought my scepter for 10 exalts now a very similar one costs 5 divines at the cheapest

Yeah but I am also looking to upgrade my amulet to +2 level with much better side stats and there a 3-5d options, so my +1 level amulet is definitely not worth 10d Edit: But yes I do agree inflation right now is insane, I watched divines go from 3ex to 65ex in a few days

Yeah Reavers have really impressive single target but they have way too many issues mapping in their current state for me

Yeah they can, unlike Arsonists they don't shoot projectiles that benefit from flame wall, so they are VERY optional

You would get alot of energy shield this way, but then going CI the life nodes are useless and your spirit will have a lower cap. could be an angle for fire minion scaling and taking advantage of Seething Body for the extra damage as fire damage

@@dconnic life in reserve still counts in your max life for things like the 1 spirit per 25 hp node

We're talking about CI(Chaos Innoculation) which sets your life to 1, so max life does not do anything and you cannot reserve 0.25 life

@@dconnic i was responding to you saying the life nodes would be useless and your spirit will have a lower cap. ci setting your life to 1 wont affect the spirit cap from the 1 spirit per 25 hp node. your actual max life is what calculates that stuff edit: this is not true for CI specifically to anyone reading this

@@dconnic Its called midnight braid, if you grab one or two more mana recoup nodes from the tree you get really tanky. Along with that you grab the 30% more block chance node from the tree to cap out block . Pretty solid defensive layers.

​@@donovandave4686 You still get one shooted, armor is also useless, only energy shield has the same values as poe1, the rest is really trash. Evasion is best unlike poe1,but as a witch you cant just get 100 dex.

The belt looks pretty cool, I don't think it's worth using for my build however I did try out MoM today without EB and with near max block and it felt pretty good

Good advice, to add on this the earlier you get +1 minions the larger the chunk of spirit cost reduction you will get. The first 3 levels of snipers has the spirit go from 90 to 50 reservation. So if you manage to get lucky and drop a +1 with extra spirit you could get 2 snipers at level 2 gem

@@dconnic Mine cost 37 now which dont go lower than that I think. Level 3 gem +1 from scepter and +1 from minion mastery. Bought that one for 1 ex and had a jeweller. So I have a 3 link +5 sniper and 270 spirit at level 11. Enough for 7 snipers :)

It still goes lower than that it just slows down the reservation decreases, plus you have access to reduced reservation on the skill tree, my arsonists/snipers cost 26 spirit at endgame. Also dropping a Jeweller that early is insane, Congrats

It might be, but poison cloud is pretty strong on bosses that dont move much which except the devourer is basically most act 1 bosses leading to Freythorn. I did supplement unleash with contagion since going chaos DoT along minions is a no brainer

@ you forgot about cemetery 3 bosses, they’re moving and moving a lot

They dont move that much, they just follow you, so if you shoot the cloud where you are they will walk into it

Weapon swapping with minions if finicky, it takes off your sceptre which is for awhile your biggest source of spirit hence the desummoning, maybe endgame you might be able to with other sources of spirit Edit: The other sources are Amulet and Chest

You can get 3 spectres from your gem at levels 1,13,25 Another 1 from the tree 1 from a delve chest mod And 4 from wraithlord for a total of 9

It does not have any minion or nearby ally stat?

No stat contributes directly to minion damage, you want to pick up attributes you need to meet gear and gem requirements (you will need alot of int for minion gem requirements)

Bro im in the same boat im looking everywhere online trying to find out whats going on. My skeleton warriors never came back but my unearth minions are coming back

They should auto revive, if they didnt did you swap out your sceptre? since that is the item that provides the melee skeletons, if its your spirit skeletons maybe you have more support gems than your attributes can handle

@@dconnic no I didn’t swap out I think my character was bugged because I made a new character and my minions were able to revive

It's an ok ascendency for minions for the extra defenses it provides, I wouldnt recommend it if youre a new player to PoE though because it will be trickier getting the tree right without gimping yourself pathing to the minion nodes while knowing when to actually switch to minions during the campaign.

Thanks and yeah I think Infernalist is the current best ascendency for a first minion build (mostly cause of where it starts on the tree and not having to spend your first 30+ levels using non minion skills)

To add an elemental res mod you would need an open suffix, since the metamod "suffixes cannot be changed" does not prevent adding an affix. so if you already have 3 suffixes it wont work

Naa I dont play hardcore, but for decent leveling spectres you have 2 options, if you didnt do legion in act 1 you can go for the hyrri's watch (after you get raise spectre gem in act 3) or Slave drivers in act 5 Control Blocks(They are squishy but they do really good damage)

@@dconnic the best for clearing t16/17 map and if they are the same convert dmg from phys ( sry for taking you time )

If I had to say, the best version of them would probably be cold convert with strength stacking. for links on that would probably look something like. Raise Spectre - Awakened Melee Phys - multistrike - awakened cold pen - hypothermia - awakened minion damage. This is just off the top of my head but this should be a solid 6L setup
