My name is Mike Ray, Houston, Texas. I have been a musician since the sixties. playing bass and rhythm guitar for numerous bands over the years. From the 50, 60's & 70's, down the highway to Country and then on to the Blues. A bout 8 years ago I developed neuropathy in my left hand (guitar chording hand) which has tremors. I've also had nodules removed from my throat, which left scare tissue. Although, I can't play or sing like yesterday, I still have the love and memories from music. This channel will be my personal (therapy) renditions of some of the songs that had special meaning to me over the years. it will also include an anecdotes about the musicians or artists, I have heard back stage or through the grape-vine.
