Incredible video....This was not available for a long time. Too wild to see it now. Great footage. Though I know this may taint your thoughts about my sailing ability...I am going to sail the world again, non stop...staying away from the 'coasts'...only kidding. Glad to see this back. Sailing is about the good days, and finding solutions on the bad days. Thanks to the fellows on their surf boards, we got my anchors out far enough to be able to pull inspired Insanity back out to sea with all the help of many hands inching her out. Best wishes Ian and the whole community on the beach in Duck NC.

A of you are wonderful. Donna had NO damage from the grounding other than the need to adjust a gear on self-steering. Talked with her this am (aug 15)--she is fine should make FL late monday night or tuesday AM. Kudos to all of you..neat video. She will be in the area this fall, we will make an effort to visit Duck with her to say "hi". As her ground comms person in Norfolk, talk with her via SSB-so kno she is okay.
