ULEZ was invented, implemented and scheduled by Boris Johnson. So much for the lack of research summed up with a single finger. Looks like Khan never stopped her selling an overpriced van and shifting the blame on ULEZ for scoring an obscene profit, is it. (one of my cars is a 1.4 tfsi, also ULEZ compliant, bought in London for £3500 - another of my cars is a 22 years old 2.0 tsi, also ULEZ compliant)

Ulez compliant today, but who knows what tomorrow will bring. They've even started changing the rules for EV's. Congestion charge was sold as a way to clean the air in London but then they decided that wasn't enough so invented ulez which is apparently a completely different way to clean the air of London. A few years back my wife unexpectedly passed away and I was unaware of a problem with my auto-pay. They issued 10 days worth of tickets which I didn't get because I couldn't bare to live at home at that time. I moved back home after 1 year and within a week a bailiff took my van because the tickets were now worth £10,000, my van was worth about 1£12,000 but they sold it and auction for £2,000. I tried to appeal but I just got passed from pillar to post with everyone passing responsibility. It's a racket, and the mayor is no better than a crack dealer on the street.
