@@Sport_Stage_fantasyfootball To be fair to you, from a fantasy value in a non PPR league with standard scoring (which let's face it, is probably what most people are playing), while he had a nice day from a real world perspective, he only had like 5 fantasy points, while Diggs had like 13. And realistically, based on the value fantasy places on TD's, a guy with 600 yards and 10 TD's has basically the same value as a guy with 1,200 yards and 5 TD's, despite the latter guy probably getting drafted far earlier and getting bigger accolades.

@@robertcampbell8070 that’s a good point. And if I’m going to draft a guy in the second round which is where Nico was drafted in most leagues, he better be the bonafide #1 on a team.

@@Sport_Stage_fantasyfootball I think you missed my argument slightly. I think Nico IS a bonafide #1 on the Texans. The issue is there's a rather large difference between being a #1 and being a #1 for FANTASY purposes. Like I said, Collins could have 1,200 and 5 TD's, and while media, fans, etc. would definitely say that was a #1 receiver and likely a top 10 type receiver season, from a fantasy perspective, it probably wouldn't be, and you'd be better off taking a guy somewhere in later rounds of a fantasy draft who might get you 700-800 yards and 10 TD's.

@@GetEmEdd 😂😂😂 it’s not about who the QB was. It’s about his inability to get open. Not looking at the stats as much as the tape. His college tape was bad outside of highlight plays and the preseason has been the same. Same poor technique. He fails to do things that I have not only coached adults to do but things I have coached middle school kids to do. He’s very raw still. Freak athlete that has the chance to be great. But he has to realize being an athlete won’t be enough in the NFL. I’ve played receiver through college and have been coached by NFL coaches as well as coached along side former NFL coaches/players. So y’all don’t have to listen to me if you don’t want but if there’s one thing I know it’s the receiver position

@@Sport_Stage_fantasyfootball I’ll take Josh Allen’s take on Coleman over yours. And it does have a lot to who throws the ball. Coleman was getting passes from Trubisky.. are you seriously down grading Allen and saying it don’t matter who is the qb?

@@GetEmEdd not on the 6 balls he had thrown his way this preseason no it didn’t. The ball was thrown on time, and accurate. You can’t blame the QB for the receiver not getting separation. Especially when the ball is thrown in rhythm. The slant which should’ve been a TD in particular was a perfect ball that came out on time and it resulted in a PBU because of a terrible route. Keon will learn that DB’s in the NFL are all better than what he played against most of the time in the SEC and he can’t rely on making acrobatic contested catches.

I’ll tell you that Allen hundred levels ahead of trubisky. There is a reason bears drop that guy and he’s a back up qb and should only hold the ball for the field goal kick and extra point.

Collins was elite in every metric last year lol hes just entering his prime. He is the Alpha. Diggs isn’t close to him

@@anthonymo4846 he was force fed as the only good reliable option after Diggs injury and he still finished 25th in targets. Now you have an elite receiver (who is aging I’ll give you that) and Dell. When Dell was healthy Collins targets weren’t as close. I think what we saw last year is Collins’ ceiling

@@Sport_Stage_fantasyfootball Across 14 fully healthy games, Collins averaged 7.7 targets per game, hardly force feeding. He had 8 targets today. I would guess the numbers will go down with Diggs and a fully healthy Dell, but I would also say you need to look at the money situations if you think Diggs is going to be the #1 option. They just paid Collins $72.75 mill over 3 years with $52 mill guaranteed. The Texans voided the final 3 years of Diggs deal and are paying him $22.52 mill for one season and then he's a free agent. Collins is the 12th highest paid receiver in the league. You don't think they're trying to make that guy the #1?

@@robertcampbell8070 I think they’ll try to win more than prove a point about making a specific guy the #1 due to money. If anything they know Diggs is only there for a year so he could get more targets so Collins doesn’t have the wear and tear for the future. Although I don’t think coaches game plan based on money. They’re trying to win. So whatever the game plan dictates that’s the main focus. I obviously implement a game plan trying to get my playmakers the ball but there’s times when the right thing to do is attack scheme with scheme rather than forcing something that isn’t there. If that makes sense. Collins played really well today. Dell was kinda quiet. It’s only week one but based on today Collins looks to be the #1. Or at least splitting with Diggs having 2 tuddies. Dell will emerge some weeks though. I think
