well , reality was not a fun place itself , thats why the goal of madara was to create a world without reality. in reality , we have the instinct to protect the person we love from harm and we did everything for it , like danzo itself he love konoha so much but using other method to protect it , to make peace through fear. he was a hero in his perspective yet it never was an hero on the side of reality , because in the same logic all people should be hero in their own story yet , he ( danzo) delete other people dream to realize his dream without their concern (all blood he sacrificed) , than why he is not the real definition of hero but he just a normal human with ambition. what make naruto a hero in reality is how he beat some sense into people in the same time he still let people choose what their heart to follow.

Danzo was I nice person he protected the village from the shadows and in order to do so he had to harsh decisions because of this he was hated I truly wished that every one should know that danzo cared about the leaf village and died protecting it and was a true hero and deserved the respect of the people of konoha

Danzo's not really a bad guy, I need people to stop insulting or making fun of him. He cares about peace for the Leaf just like Hiruzen but in a violent way. Not many ppl understand his doing and just assume he's a bad guy that deserves to die

poor guy.. he was so consumed by his perceived rivalry with Hiruzen, it dictated the course of his entire life. Maybe if he had found a woman to love he wouldn't be so dark (I say dark and not evil)

Most of this story is not even true.

Danzo is one of the underrated character in Naruto. He did all the dirty job/sacrifice for konoha's peace. He did what he did to protect the village. Yes he had differences with Hiruzen, but both of them have the same goal that is to protect the village at all cost.
