Hey man thanks for the video I’m I’n México u just saved me some money and apréciate it hope you have blessed new year
At 1:14, you can hear Chuckie Finster shrieking fearfully in the distance from being reminded about the oatmeal box guy.
😂
Yeah I do remember Chuckle being afraid of the guy on the oatmeal box.
I've got the exact same heater and I just now tried to turn mine on because it's getting down to 27 tonight. Well the bottom switch isn't working right it just turns freely now and not clicking into the low, medium, high settings. I Googled the picture of mine and found this video to see if it showed anything about changing out the switch. Good video but I have to find another one to see how to change it out. 👍
Nice haul
Thanks! Happy New Year to you.
@stevethefanman8955 Happy New Year to you also...thanks for the great content
So the front bar isn’t supposed to be lit up?
Does this have auto-shut off? Meaning when the room reaches the desired temperature, it turns off and then turns back on when the temperature drops?
No it does not, I have one. Unfortunately it doesn’t have this feature
You to I hope you have a great Christmas day tomorrow!
Thanks, you too!
If you want do you think next year when you go decorate, can you use all incandescent lights? Because those would look way cozier and better incandescent lights will make Christmas feel like the good old days I don’t know. I’m just saying if you want.
I'll try to, what ever happens then happens.
Nice!
Thanks!
Congrats!
Thanks a lot!
Wow nice👍
Thanks!
@stevethefanman8955 your welcome!
Congratulations on your accomplishment! Unfortunately the audio is severely messed up in this video so I'm not sure of the majority of what you said.
Thanks man! Yeah I realized just right after I uploaded the video the audio was messed up. I meant to correct but I may have already deleted the video . But I can just do another giving a full monologue, thank you for your support and I will always enjoy yours.
If this mower have a way to put the blades more near the floor
Thanks. I bought one and my instructions are not as good as your printed one. This helps a lot.
Awesome Startup sound and spin down time bro i enjoyed the video of this vintage box fan
Glad you enjoyed!
@@stevethefanman8955 What do those colored buttons on top do?
I really do like those smaller box fans I have a 73 frigid all original 14 inch it has hands down been the best fan I’ve ever owned and I had the super powerful old blue Patton but as reliability it has not once let me down! I will keep it until I pass away I bet it will outlive me!
That's dedication to a good fan!
Cheers
Cheers to you as well ! And Merry Christmas.😊
Mine is a few years old. Same model but it has a brick look inside the fireplace, makes it look more realistic.
Mine is making a noise when you turn it on. Is that the fan making noise? Heat and lighting is working great just making noise.
I bought 2 of these new in 1990 for our camper. Still using, one is at work the other one is under my work bench in the garage. Keeps ya warm!!!
Love this. I have the green Sears version of this, they are lovely well built fans. Great video, I'll put my Sears on my channel soon
I really like these fans too, I lean a little more towards older box fans but I was intrigued by this one . Just need to get the right tools to fix it up with, I'm interested in seeing yours when you get a video of it and guarantee I'll be the first to watch it . Thank you and Merry Christmas.
How deep is the box fan cabinet, & what's the blade pitch?
Y'know... That looked like a Baby Ruth bar in the thumbnail at first. 🥜 Definitely thought you'd be doing a review or something for it.
Come to think of it... It did sort of look like a candy bar, this was just a cheapo low inferior quality solder kit. Despite that being the title of the video, it really wasn't even worthy of a review. I was a little bored so I just made a quick video of it before I trashed it.
Nice, great video.
Glad you enjoyed it.
Those two Japanese guys in snazzy tuxedos didn't arrive at your house? They rould rike to play.
Lol
Very nice! Where did you get those twinkly lights around the window ? They look really cool!
Thanks, they're led music activated curtain lights . They're not designed for Christmas decorations but I've been using them since last year and they work really well.
Thanks, that sounds good but I would rather just go with the normal holiday tradition. Thanks for watching.
It looks absolutely amazing You should keep it up all year around. It looks too nice to take it down once Christmas is over.
Great review! I just bought one and am picking it up tomorrow
@@chuckyjules8488 Thanks!
Have a happy Thanksgiving
Same to you.
That screw is a reverse thread, so you turn it clockwise to loosen. Also that screw head is Japanese Phillips. You need to have a specific screwdriver set for this. Those were made from Sanyo parts. This is
Thanks for letting me know.
neat fan, an oldie but still going strong!!!
Thanks.
What brought about your unique fan-scination with fans?
To honest, I really don't know how it all started.. All I know is it all started as long as I can remember.
@@stevethefanman8955 "Hooouuuooog..."
Can you make a video about the aerospeed bx 100 box fan like i have i love the aerospeed box thats why i have two but overall video 😎👍
Just picked this up. Does anybody know how to change input without remote?
Oh jeez, it seems those GE X-Port motors are nothing but trouble… How’s the amp draw on it? Regrettably I don’t think I have any suitable replacement, but I would possibly be willing to work out something in Facebook DM’s seeing if I can possibly repair that one…
Yeah This has really gotten to be a pain in the ass .. Well I'm still trying to get used to the kill watt meter but it draws about 118.5 volts 2.8 amps 2.1 2 watts on the position that's working ... As for the position that's not functioning is about 118.5 volts 2.91amp and 20.6watts and 60hz .
@ Huh, sounds to me possibly like there’s something wrong with the reversing circuitry whether it be the shading poles, or the reversing switch.
Quintessential item in NYC in 90's
I actually have two like, but one has a translucent blue see-through blade set, and the other has the translucent brown see-through blade set all from eBay 5 years ago.
Thanks for letting me know.
@@stevethefanman8955 I have the 1980s model from Galaxy m
Save it
The fan is already gone, aside of it not mine and being up to me .. It really wasn't worth my time nor the effort to save a fan that can easily be replaced . I usually repair older fans for a number reasons. If it falls into the category such as something the early 2000s like Lasko weather shield or anything particular it's still of some value . But I honestly don't see the need or any reason to save something that is still in stock.
@stevethefanman8955 K
Fair play Steve, you ready to put them back up soon?
Cool

Poor Fan! 😞
It was around for quite awhile, it's seen its life.
That sucks
Yeah what a shame... However the fan wasn't mine, it belong to family that resided here before and from what I was told they had it for a long time.
Did u fix it? It might beed some bearing oil or sewing machine oil inside the motor on the shaft and wicks
Nevermind, just watched all your video.
my phone been watching me as I work on this old blower. Now TH-cam suggest this video. I had an direct drive motor from a smaller squirrel cage that came out of a newer furnace. I decided to retrofit it to the old belt driven cage cause the belt driven motor windings was done. Save money and works!!! No more belt no more oil. Had to use a degreaser to remove the caked up oil and dust on the old cage.
I found a zephair Hunter fan in the attic. It was coated in insulation, filthy dirty and was a bigger 20" or so, It did work perfect but FILTHY DIRTY, it sucked in and blew out both high and low with sturdy rocker switch, but I threw it out due to how filthy it was and don't want to Ebay it due to how crappy ebay has become. It weighs a lot too, easily over 40lbs so shipping is a hassle with it. Garbage guys hauled it away. It's built military grade if you ask me. I hate clutter and hate ebay and really didn't want to toss it. But with my OCD and cleanliness thing, I couldn't resist throwing it away. Switch for Hi-Low and another sturdy rocker switch for fan forward and fan reverse.. I bet they put it up in the crawl space of the attic here when they did rennovation and added asbestos siding in 1950s and never took it out. Attic is hard to access in this old house and I never went up there since I buoght this place in 2020, finally went up there and crawled on hands and knees thru insulation and there it was.... I'm regretting it now, but the truck has come and got it and now it's gone.... Retail price, I looked it up on ebay is around 150 in the condition I had it, but packing and shipping that monster is an ordeal, I know, I have over over 2,000 ebay transactions in 20 plus years.. Only other way to sell it would have been yard-sale or maybe a pawn shop which this area hasn't any.
