Hello! Is it possible you only replace the ECU, without the contact + keys etc.? I have same error on Fz6 S1 2005, and I want to test to another ECU, but the seller saus it need the whole kit to work, not only ECU. Thanks!

I have an ER-1 Code on my FZ6, which shares a detuned version of the R6 motor. There is a data wire and data ground that goes between the ECU and Meter. You can try two jumper wires to eliminate any connector possibilities. If that fails for me, I will aim for my ECU first over my meter, given the results of this video.

Man that is one sweet truck. You found it in Redding huh that's cool are you from Redding? I was raised in Redding and live in Sacramento now but I still have lots of family up there. I have my family on the look out for old cars and trucks in the bushes up there hell even if it's a rust bucket right that just means more character. The idea of using the 2jz has been something I have been rolling around in my head for some time now.

my 03 r1 one has the er1 code.. it ran good last week went to put tags on it now it just spins over thats it

You should have made a angle cut on the frame to make a stronger weld back then a straight cut which will be weaker

Should have started it up to see if its actually a 2jz

I have both an err-01 and an err-02 on my 2004 R1.. The weird thing is, it only appears over 100 km/h when i'm trying to accelerate, and the bike keeps on running fine but my speedometer suddenly fails and doesn't display the correct speed or no speed at all. According to the service manual, the bike shouldn't even operate with those errors but it starts and runs fine. Only when I'm riding between 100 and 120 km/h and accelerate, the error message suddenly appears, the speedometer fails and the "check engine" light burns. Is anyone familiar with this problem and/or any solutions?

I have a error code _1 on my 2010 Yamaha r1 and its getting really frustrating idk what the issue is. It turns on and runs until it reads about 190 degrees Fahrenheit from cold start and shuts off. The main relay assembly then starts clicking. I replaced the main assembly relay problem still occurs. Then a min goes by it lights back up and starts again. Idk what to do. Plz help

I have a 71 521 that I had grand plans of building a l series for but I'm leaning heavily towards slapping a 302 in it. Those are engines I know more about and parts are available everywhere. And they make decent power. Should be relatively the same as the 620 right?
