Brilliant any more vids on s197s always awesome.
We need more videos like this. Straightforward and easy to follow. Thanks for making this. I didn’t have the pipe but I did find you can use an 11mm socket to stretch the fitting over the threads.
Thanks for taking time out of ur way to post this video.
Excellent video thanks!
Thank you for sharing this video it sure helped me to find pump on my 2006 mustang😊
Did u half to bleed the power steering pump at all ik some u half to
thank you very much, this video gave me more courage to work on my car
You made this 100x easier with your clear instructions & even giving the sizes needed. Thanks a bunch! 👍
Thank you! I have been asked to make more videos and I am seriously thinking I will.
I’m about to do this on my 07 GT C/S 4.6. You don’t have to bleed anything or turn the wheel at some point ?? Like the brakes how they need to be bled and pressed it makes sense for me that you’d need to bleed the line with the steering wheel? Maybe I’m wrong
U save me 1,000 dollars some of theses mechanics is crooked
Excellent video man!
Thank you!
That was really good. My mechanic wanted to charge me $180 for this job. I wish you had more videos on this vehicle
Sorry, we sold it. I will be adding more videos soon!
Thanks daughter is at college didn't know what I was getting into.
Glad I could help!
I had no clue how to change my power steering pump myself until I found your video. Thank you 👍🏽

My wife's 05 just went out. Thank you for the video!
You are very welcome!
Did you buy the power steering with the reservoir?
No.
Thank you so much!!
Thank you 😊
Have had a leaking steering pump for years... thanks replaced pump, lines, and reservoir
is this the same as a gt mustang ?????
Not sure. Haven’t ever changed one on a GT.
Did u ever figure out if it was the same or not for the 4.6 gt ?
Don't believe it is I have a gt with a power steering issue the pulleys are different
did u?@@mustangsally3878
no
Found this video after I had already gotten underway and let me tell you I made it a lot more difficult for me lol but this video helped me out thank you
I have been dealing with my son's 07 mustang due to it making noise under the hood so we have replaced the alternator , idler pulley, tensioner and the water pump and it is still making that noise. So we are going to change the power steering pump next but I couldn't find a video on how to do this after hours of looking I finally came across your video and let me tell you that you have made my evening. Thanks
Thanks for the video man. About to to work on mine right now and save some money in pocket..
bro i was having trouble your an unsung hero
Amazing so glad this turned out not to be as difficult as I thought it was going to be.
I guess it is quite randomly asking but does anyone know a good place to stream newly released series online?
@Eden Marshall Lately I have been using FlixZone. You can find it on google =)
@Watson Zaire Yea, I've been watching on FlixZone for since march myself :D
@Watson Zaire Yea, have been watching on flixzone for months myself :)
@Watson Zaire Yup, I have been watching on flixzone for since march myself :)
Does this work for a 2007 Ford Mustang v6 as well?
Yes
Vantage thank you life saver
My man your a life saver
Thank you!
man thanks for this video, this is the only one I've found for this
Thanks for the video. Something is making my belt slip, squeal and smoke intermittently at high RPMs. Hoping it's the power steering pump, but it might be the alternator. I hear the power steering whine at start-up, but the battery also went dead today... I guess I'll find out in the daylight tomorrow...
Let know what you find out. (or found out.)
@@pathfynder4lyfe772 It was the harmonic balancer. It separated. The outer part slid in towards the motor and the belt was riding on the inner part of the pully...
What about the rubber gasket? Where’s it goes ?
