This is why stores are important,,,you can look at the product and return it if unsatisfactory,,,when shit like this happens most just dont even return like you , they modify, so how much did you save by forcing stores out of business because you try and save a buck on line ....nothing , you got taken advantage of lol ,,,stores are important now that china has taken over 95 % of our products , allllllll garbage now ....buy local save a store , screw amazon and Ebay .....

this was made for kayaks and canoes... Not for boats like yours... reviewing this is for a purpose you are trying to use it for is the same thing as trying to slice with the spoon... I have the same dolly with hard rubber tires and I'm exceptionally happy about that.

I'm not very tech savvy so I don't know if the pictures I tried to attach to my earlier comment worked. Just in case, what I did was to take a piece of 1 1/2" PVC about as long as the boat is wide. I cut a slot in it as long as the dolly plate is wide. I then drive the PVC into the dolly. I put an elbow on each end of the PVC and a short piece as a riser/guide. I cut a pool noodle and zip tied it to the PVC. This allows me to save my dolly plus it raises the boat higher off the ground. I do hope I have explained this well enough.

Brilliant! I have been trying to figure out how to use my two wheel dolly for a boat dolly. This is simple and brilliant.

That's awesome. I just bought a 14 ft (not a Jon boat) but a regular fishing boat from my neighbor. I an a 62 year old woman. My problem now is how to put it in and take it out of the river that I live by alone. Do you think the dolly would be a good fit for my situation as well? Thank you for your great video.

But that design has a lot of flaws Can tilt the boat without the transom hitting the ground. Can't load it into your truck bed Easy to loose in the water when loading back up. Metal to metal contact. Check out the azlongtales channel they have a much better design and cheap.

I can tell you right now... Those rims cracked very shortly after you bought that cart. They used alloy plastic which cracks very easily I barely used my cart and the plastic cracked while just sitting in the garage with no load.

  • @RooniTunes

You've given me a good idea. I may try one or two vehicle dollies for my canoe (the kind that fit under car tires). If they can support a vehicle, it should be a cinch with my canoe.

Great idea. That kayak cart is rated for 110 lbs. I have a 12' aluminum boat and need a cart. Your idea might just work. Not sure about the tires but worth the try. Have you hauled it over dirt yet? Also, how did you cut the plate off?
