Thank you! Worked like a charm. One thing I'll add. Spamming stop didn't help me. If I hit stop more than a few times it brought me to the main player menu and not the UlltraHD screen shown on yours. In the player main menu screen the "top menu" on the remote won't work. You need to be at the UlltraHD screen you see in this video. Hit stop twice. Maybe once. Your aim is to just go back one screen.

I’m losing my mind with this thing. I’m getting freezing and audio dropout. Using a 2021 Samsung TV and 8K cable. I dont know what I’m doing wrong or if this player is broken. Would be so happy if it worked properly all the time but when playing movies I will have issues every 20-30 minutes or so.

I would advise AGAINST using chemicals or microfibre. One of the simplest methods for light soiling, is to BREATHE on the disc and use a clean soft cotton cloth, rubbing gently from the edge of the disc to the centre (DO NOT rub in a circular motion). For very soiled discs, dishwashing detergent and warm water can be used. The video refers to water damaging your player, but you'd have to be really dumb to insert a wet disc!

The resolution settings on my LG player cannot output a lower resolution. I would prefer to output a lower resolution and allow my TV to upscale. Other than that, my LG player has been reliable with any media including 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD's. Wondering if you did not update the firmware at some point and the resolution options were changed.

You're incorrect on the XLR ports.. they are not input but output for audio only.
