We stayed at wallison hotel in Srinagar but I personally did not like the rooms. Cost was 2250 Rs/ night that time.

How was the temparament of the cab driver you hired from SriNagar? As we are planning in April and also will travel with a kid so wanted to know
Weather was very pleasant and cab driver is very friendly and drove safely

What was the pony rate and car rent in Sonmarg?
Pony took 1200 per head but uou can bargain... off season will be less price I hope. We took the car for sight seeing in 3500.
