uhm....not trying to diss u or anything but KVD stands for Kevin VanDam. It's his initials, that's why you see em on strike king products instead of his full name. it's shorter so it can fit in the packaging.

Actually, not only that he has different rods with different size crank baits but also same size crank baits with different size lines. That difference in line size can make 2-4 feet difference in a crank bait dive which is crucial in reaching targeted depth.

@pilotguy32 I have always held Rick Clunn in the highest regard. He was my favorite back in the 80s and 90s and I still like him. He was voted ESPN's All time greatest fisherman back in 2004. But I think if they held that vote now, KVD would win it hands down. He's just on a level above all the rest!
