Hand controller A is having issues with its LCD screen or circuit board. I have changed out hand controller cords and even re-soldered the plugin’s pins to the circuit board. I have three AutoStar II hand controllers and three cords. Cords check out fine on all hand controllers.
Working hand controller B does not have any issues. So, I took A’s LCD screen and hooked it up to B’s circuit board. A’s LCD screen had display issues even when hooked up to B’s circuit board. Then I took A’s circuit board and hooked it up to B’s LCD screen and display issues occurred. Then I reconnected B’s circuit board and its LCD screen and all items worked for B. However, A was still having issues.
I went into A’s settings and adjusted the brightness and contrast, and it seemed to do better. However, there are still some odd text symbols occurring at times.
It is strange that a good circuit board and good LCD screen produced the same issues when hooked up to A’s LCD screen and/or A’s circuit board.
