It’s usually grey and windy. Between November and March especially! The waves are good but cold. However summer is warm and sunny but wave quality drastically drops

Honestly it has been one of the best all round boards I’ve ever owned. Its hold in anything waist to double over head. It’s extremely fast but still has plenty of hold and control. It’s a bit of a pain in the ass when it’s windy but still manageable. In next weeks video I try out Jim’s hookers fins with the revolution. 100% recommend the board and fins!

The paddle there at the mo is brutal for not much action.

Not sure if you watched the entire video bru but I explain after that I was stoked to get the waves I caught. It’s a hell paddle there at the moment for not a lot of waves. Especially compared to other beaches around me.

Jim banks revolution 6’2 by 20 by 2 5/8 33litres. I’m now 5’11 weighing in around 65 kgs. Its bit of a bigger board than I’d typically ride but works great in everything

Luckily my tolerance to gross water is so high now I got away with it. Slight saw throat the next day but wasn’t poorly

Yeah but it doesn’t quite understand how the winds work over in Indo. I use wind guru as well which has far better forecasting (same with wind hog). This is only a couple feet swell. Jacks up on the reef lovely

the winds in Indo and are the same practically everyday between April and October (dry season) They will vary in strength but are always from the South East from Sumbawa through to Java

Hey cooper! I’ve been surfing consistently for about 11 years but it has been in my life since I was born. I started on a 7’2 minimal then down to a 6’6 late 80’s short board then down to this little 5’8 fish thing that could also be a thruster

@@morleymov thanks Morley I appreciate the response I’ve only been surfing for 1 year and started on a 8’ softtop and progressed down to a 6’6 50l fish shape board and then down to a 6’ 40l board which I am using now although I still don’t know how to turn or pump so I’m not sure whether I progressed down to quick or not but I think I’m now going to go back up to my 7’2 bic surfboard it’s a pretty old mini mal that my dad got me when I was younger but i never picked up surfing until now, he surfs on wave skis so it’s a bit different, I’m pretty sure the bic boards originated in England so you might have heard of them? Do you think going back up to the 7’2 mal will help me start learning to turn and pump?

I’d recommend experimenting with the slightly bigger board for a little while maybe. It all comes down to personal preference at the end of the day which I understand is hard with such little experience. Going up in size will make turning and pumping harder only because you’re having to move a bigger board. However you’ll most likely catch more waves which in the long run will help you progress in general
