Excellent marlin fishing during the May 2019 full moon off Walkers Cay and Grand Cay aboard the 61 Hatteras gt “Miss Wilder”. Captain Steve Diffenbacher. Anglers Scott Clay, Tommy Clay and Alex Kessler. We went 5/8 on Blue marlin, 3/6 on white marlin 1/2 on spear fish and a sail fish in 3 days of fishing. +KamekAdvance Probably because they live thousands of feet deep and only rarely come to the surface at night. Their basically a deepwater billfish (living in the pitch black darkness of the deep) and catching them on hook and line is the only way you're going to see one.
