🎸 Welcome to my channel! I feature a mix of classical and pop songs performed on a nylon string guitar. From timeless classics to contemporary hits, my goal is to share
"Greensleeves - The Melody Behind 'What Child Is This?' (Classical Guitar)"
"Greensleeves" is a timeless melody with a rich history, dating back to 16th-century England. Known for its haunting beauty, this traditional folk tune is famously associated with the Christmas carol What Child Is This?, which adapted its melody in the 19th century to tell the story of the Nativity.
In this performance, I bring my classical guitar interpretation to Greensleeves. A piece that bridges centuries and connects the themes of love, reflection, and the holiday spirit. Whether you know it as Greensleeves or What Child Is This?, it’s a melody that resonates with audiences worldwide.
If you enjoyed this performance, don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more guitar videos!"

Forrest Gump Soundtrack - Main Title (Feather Theme) on Guitar Cover by Joe Jones
มุมมอง 1126 หลายเดือนก่อน
I’ve learned other Travis picking-style songs with an alternating bass in the past, but that style usually keeps a steady beat. I struggled with this song because of the offbeat rhythm. The alternating bass keeps the song's pace, and the timing ties the song together when the beat changes. In multiple measures, the bass only gets played on the offbeat. That means the beat that we call “and”. Su...

Master guitarist
you are too kind. I'm working at it.
Interesting...🎉I usually play this accenting the upper e rather than the bass note.
It's not always necessary in my opinion to olay to the best of your technical abilities. I would rather hear you take your time with the piece and really feel it
interesting perspective. Presently, my goal is to play the piece as it is written, but I think it's a good discussion.
@@joejonesguitar I'm not gonna pretend to be some sort of expert (I've only been playing for a year) but I think playing the music as it's written is the first stage of playing a piece. After mastering that it's up to each performer to give their own personal touch to the piece which is exactly why we listen to humans and not robots play music Anyway you probably knew that already and you are clearly a much better guitarist than me, just smtj to think abt
@@promisteryolo1786 I appreciate your perspective, thank you.
