Moon
มุมมอง 14412 ปีที่แล้ว
My first video of the moon in HD using the Canon 60D mated to a Meade 4" refractor telescope, shot in both Prime Focus and eyepiece projection. You can really see the air turbulence on the close up. The vibration are cause by the motor drive tracking the moon. Note: you may notice some black dots in the close up of the moon's surface, the black dots are dust on the 9mm eyepiece, I didn't notice...

What month of 2008 did you video tape this
laugh all you want dum ass try it test for yourself it does reduce nitrate.
FAKE
Sorry you forget the space in between tooth and cat I think
15:27 - Just who I've been waiting for!
The lion on the car was probably thinking "shut up humans I'm trying to sleep"
She's gorgeous
Look at the blue tang, it's so beat up. I recomend taking it out a long with alot of the fish. Too overstocked.
i needed a good laugh, so I returned to watch the second installment. lmfao. tell me more about YOUR cycle
The teacher doesn't seem to understand the cycle very well.
False. There are many male orcas in the wild that have collapsed dorsals. The reason it collapses is when the animal spends much time at the surface of the water and gravity pulls it down. It can also be passed on gentically. Get your facts right first.
I love how Orkids like: "Ehmm how am i supposed to leave the pool here if there#s this bar??" 8:09 :)
looks like snow white called in sick:(
@Lolaisy Notice only one of the seven orcas at San Diego has a bent dorsal, and it's not even entirely collapsed. Sigh.
@Lolaisy Yes, they do.
@gally50 I meant it's illegal in the US. As I said before, I am against the capture of of these whales anyway, and I know they should never have been caught! You can't hold the fact that they were caught in the first place against me. And of course some of the whales are from the wild... how how else would they have got there? Only 2 out of 7 whales at SWF are wild-caught, though.
@elfwhitewave I'm totally going to believe some over youtube, yeah. Two fo my family members work at SeaWorld, so I think I'm a little more informed than you and your google search skills. You're the type of person who believes everything The Orca Project and other "organizations" spew out.
@missnoodles996 You stated "thankfully, it's illegal to do so now" (capturing whales from the wild). Unfortunately, like many of your comments, this is far from accurate. There are many countries where capturing whales, for the supply DEMANDED from the captivity industry is legal, & profitable. ALL whales you see at Seaworld & other captive facilities have been taken from the wild or are the progeny of wild cetaceans. CAPTIVE CETACEAN "ENTERTAINMENT" = WILD CETACEAN EXPLOITATION - FACT.
Believe something far greater. Believe in freedom. Believe it is wrong to manipulate nature for profit & entertainment. Believe Orca have evolved to hunt, live in family groups & experience the vast expanse of the Ocean. Believe breeding cetaceans in captivity, to remain in captivity for entertainment & profit is contrary to conservation. Believe that a tank 30ft deep is insufficient for an animal that can dive hundreds of feet & travel vast distances in a single day.
@Lolaisy Having bent dorsals doesn't harm them in any way, it just looks a bit funny. Yes, I'd rather the whales never had been captured in the first place. Thankfully, it's illegal to do so now. Releasing them would be a bad idea because although they could survive with training, they're too used to human contact and it would be dangerous for them.
@BelieveLover I love how she stays there while everyone else bails =P
@elfwhitewave All the attacks? There have been 2 incidents in San Diego in the last 15 years, both from the same whale. And neither of them were serious, the trainer wasn't even hurt... Even small incidents are extremely rare when working with Orcas.
I agreed, the video was made over 3 years ago before HD was available. I am hoping to have it redone in HD quality soon.
@Lolaisy Go google "wild orcas with bbent dorsals". It happens in the wild, too, just not as much. Corky has been in captivity longer than Tili, and hers is still straight. That might be because she swims upside down, though. And if you think that's the reason, then explain why Lolitas's dorsal is straight! It's really just the water pressure. SWSA is the deepest out of all three SW parks, and it's more in the shade. Their dorsals are still collapsed.
@Lolaisy Not, it's not and yes, they do.
what is the tank demoing? hideous plastic junk, how to massively overstock a very small tank?
@RingneckDoveFan Haha I know.
awesome show
That is one bloody big whale!
Ya it's San Diego
It's an original soundtrack by SeaWorld. You can get it at any of the parks or at their online store.
ok thanks a lot mate! i cant wait to buy like 300 gallons... i just have to learn more about the saltwater tank equipments!
for such small tank you don't need a protein skimmer, I wouldn't over stock the tank though. I am assuming you have the regular filters which is limited to 1" of fish per 5 gallon of water, over stock and over feeding will cause problem and the tank may go south fast. Keep up the water change every other weeks at 20%, test water quality often, check nitrate(NO3) level don't let go above 20ppm or you will have algae problem. Good Luck.
hi i know nothing about having a fish tank but out of the blue i just got one from a friend. so i decided to use it and now i have both reef and fish on a 10 gallon tank. do i really need to put a protein skimmer on it? i already use 2 filters one is built in the cover and one that i bought and hang it inside. thanks
I love Shamu Rocks!! :D
Anyone thinks you must have live sand in the tank in order to keep fish knows nothing about fish keeping. In the future please don't comments on things you don't fully understand, Sir, Thank you.
Haha, Orkid in the end XD she's amazing ^^
I like your video. It's great. If you have more (sea world), please send to me.
The first part make me sometime to cry =')
