Hello guys! Today I bring you the backing track of the alternative version of "Aurore", by Fapy Lafertin. I recently transcribed this version of Fapy and now I complement that with this backing track so that you can practice and decide to incorporate it into your usual repertoire. In my opinion it's one of the most beautiful gypsy jazz melodies. I feel like it has a very particular magic...so full of melancholy. All the phrases are in the same harmonic context, the first degree of the key. Each of these phrases has something interesting, that's why I chose them. As soon as you mentioned the Am6 the penny dropped for me... A simple but interesting and very flexible series of notes for a ii - V7 - I.
