Love Steve Earle
Steve"s vocals are great.
On the other side of the damn down that wooden bridge where that fallen down gazebo used to be there’s old remains of the old railroad.
is that Cheryl Crow? well alright!
No, it is not Sheryl Crow. If you are talking about the woman to Steve's left in the floral shirt, it is Amy Helm, Levon's daughter. I don't know the other woman's name, but she did back-up vocals and acoustic guitar for Levon's band at the time.
Other woman is Teresa Williams. Seriously wonderful.
Thanks for the info.
@@lorenrt303 She married to Larry Campbell, mando player.
@@lorenrt303 Who else is in the band besides Levon?
Excellent audience recording. This is so good!
If you got a boss, you need a union.
As long as it isn't a corrupted union then you got trouble!
NOPE
Mad love and respect for Steve and Levon, great song.... and it's an excellent sound that Larry gets on that fiddle.
+1
Superb.
holy shit
Levon and Steve, boy would I love to have been the fly on the wall........talk about entertainment value ! This is my epitaph song........ Such is the life of mining coal ! I feel he sings this for me when he sings....... for it was MY HERITAGE !
I can't find the "LOVE" button so I hit like :)
WOW
your a loser these guys are as good as it gets there entertaining you moron if you dont like it turn it
sorry for everythings...!!
I had a THIRD ROW seat at this show. I was flying in the day before, 11 hours from Medellin. Bike race shut down the only road to the airport and there was no way out. Missed it! Damn. Made it to a few Rambles though. I miss Levon so much. At the Garth show on Last Waltz weekend the boys had me in tears thinking of Mr. Helm.
and now he's gone RIP my friend
awesome performance!!!
Great song, great artists, great music!!!
Incorrect. That is Max on vocals singing and playing the Gibson sg.
Wrong. Mike Nicolai, both Max and Mike are friends of mine
Forgive my ignorance but who's that singing? Should I know this? Great post!
That’s Max Johnston. He has a great album named Dismantling Paradise.
Apparently Levon had better taste than you as well as plenty of love for Steve, given that he invited Steve onstage and recorded this song which Steve wrote.
Gtfo Steve. Nobody loves you. Levon is too awesome for you
Yes, I love Steve and many more.... it is 5 years later now and a lot changed... specially after his album released in 2017 called "So You Wanna Be An Outlaw"" He is about the last outlaw still standing and his fans feel that we got to treasure and celebrate an artist like Steve Earle as long as he is there....
Two greats of American roots music!
Levon lives!
anything Steve Earle is awesome
RIP Levon. Never heard of you until tonight on Celtic Quick News. My loss!!
One of the greatest voices passed away today..we'll never forget Levon. Thank you for the music.
Cool to hear Steve do this with Levon's arrangement instead of his own. Hope these rambles go on forever even after Levon passes on.
Mike Nicolai on vocals..
Get well Levon!!!
@bulbheadmyass cause Nashville didn't have anything to do with it....
One of my favorite Earle songs
Thanks for posting this. Beyond bad ass!!!
ouch horrible sound sorry ,hard to pickup what song it is..
2 true legends right there! The best!
I was at this show, they didnt have any Melvin's merch, I waited in line for ever, and no Melvin's merch. I was so sad.
Dale nails a Merle cover EVERY time!
Awesome! Love these guys!
