BMW X5 G05 Fogged Up Headlights
How to remove condensation from inside the headlights of a BMW X5 G05?
Have you noticed that water is accumulating inside the headlights of your BMW X5 or other type of newer BMW? On my 2020 G05 45e the humidity was so high that water drops had formed on the inside of the headlight cover. Severe condensation seems to be a common problem on this type of headlights, and it can affect both the brightness of the headlight and possibly also damage the electronics.
In this video, I investigate why water got inside the headlights in the first place, and show you how I got rid of the moisture without fully removing the headlight.

Tesla model 3 with snow chains takes on icy hill
มุมมอง 21K4 ปีที่แล้ว
My dad recently got a Tesla model 3 LR, with studless winter tires. Upon arriving at our place for christmas, he wanted to try out his new König K-Summit snow chains.
GIN Eskimo 11m - snowkiting in varying winds (2-8 m/sek)

Learning to kite, part two. Hafjell, Norway. I haven't seen many kites, but the GIN Eskimo seems to me to be very well built, and so far I love it. Check out www.ginkites.com Want to start snowkiting? Watch th-cam.com/video/TZLS2qqFggo/w-d-xo.html
First time snowkiting - GIN Eskimo 11m - Tree(line) finish
มุมมอง 4947 ปีที่แล้ว
Trying out my 2017 GIN Eskimo 11m i Øyer, Norway. The wind was between 3 to 5 m/sek. There were a few trees, and one in particular... This was my first time kiting ever, so please be gentle :) I haven't seen many kites, but the GIN Eskimo seems to me to be very well built, and so far I love it. Maybe I will do a review on it, if people find the video interresting. Want to start snowkiting? Watc...
PS. Just an idea: You can use smoke to find where the moisture is entering the headlight.
@icebmwpower That's a good idea. Would it be correct to enter the smoke through that ventilation port? Will definitely try that if I have to investigate further 👍
Great video. 🥇🏆 Keep us updated with the results. Wish you success.
Great short and to the point video. Thank you.
You do not configure it right. There is on part not at the right space. That could end in a big bill 😮
Sorry, but I don't understand what you mean. What part is not correctly installed?
@@erikshaunat 1:11 if you freeze it, the chains are not in the middle of the tire when looking at the top of the tire. To get this part to install correctly, you have to install the chains, roll the car a 1/2 wheel turn, then adjust the chains. You’re currently risking the chains popping off.
@@AndrewLitton you zoomers need to work on your attention span. Watch the video up to 1:28
How many regulation elements did you remove (the yellow ones)? The instructions recommend 2, but I removed all 4. Not sure if the chain is too loose now.
The chains were sold together with the Tesla, and I can't recall, sorry.
I remember going on wintersport in Tsjechië driving from 11:00 pm till 9:00 am. In the early dark morning a snowy hill.. snow chains. We with a mazda 626 FwD no problem get on the hill to our resort. But my uncle had a ford Sierra for a short time he didn’t knew it was a Rwd so he put the chains on the front wheels.. later he called. That the chains didn’t worked because I couldn’t get up the hill. 😂
Why chains? It’s AWD.
Because of the ice and the unstudded tyres. AWD won’t save you on ice if you don’t have studs. The chains are a good temporary fix. Nevertheless, he probably would have made that specific hill without the chains.
even with winter tires, awd has no chance
Bare gi meg to års forvarsel :D
+1 for the funny comments :-))
