HAVE YOU MET MISS JONES? by Richard Rogers and Lorenz Hart

My New Years resolution... try to record at least 1 song per week.
This week... Some Rogers and Hart, "Have You Met Miss Jones?"
I tried a different mic setup... a Sennheiser 441-u (my favorite) and a Sennheiser MK4 (condenser). Not sure if I like the result. Still, had to give it a try.
Backing tracks via Band In A Box 2024 ultrapak for Mac.
Recorded in Logic Pro 11.
Selmer Reference 54 Tenor Sax. Guardala MB1 (original handmade)
Filmed on iPhone 15 Pro Max.
I just bought Final Cut Pro... more experiments to come.

Music Director Dave Eskridge talked Pastor Warren into doing a "small" Big Band worship service for the holidays. Dave wrote these arrangements and even got Pastor Cook to sing with the band. It was a fun time for the musicians and the congregation enjoyed our musical offering. Here's a clip of the Friendship Church Band performing Dave's arrangement of "The Grinch". Merry Christmas everybody!
