Bought one of these today

The next version of Cheetah needs to use VCSEL IR. They went cheap using LED IR which limits to about 150 yards. All competitors are now using VCSEL IR these days.

Silly question excuse my ignorance as this is all new to me. Will this app work with another brand scope that has WiFi? Thanks

Hi, I'm asking you this as you work for hik micro. I've got an alpex lrf, I've just done the firmware upgrade that ended in *240319, I can't see what's changed? What I and many others were hoping for is: That the "picture in picture" screen would display the hold over point when using BC instead of standard reticle, it means that you can't use pip to aim at longer range which is exactly what we want to use it for, and to still have wide field of view on main screen to see if animal drops or runs etc. Can you find out if this is coming please? i have the cheetah the ballistic calculator is a game changer..but my lrf from 45 yards to 56 yards shows 54 yards every time. i used my hawk rangefinder at every 5 yards..does anyone else have this prtoblem....

I use my hikmicro cheetah with the ballistic program. It's a game changer for super precise ratting. Superb clarity and an all in one design. Cracking bit of kit

Nice demonstration of the amazing Alpex 4k. Pro tip... you could do a Near Zero using something like Strelok or any phone based ballistic app. In high winds it helps eliminate wind drift, plus is way less walking. I have found this method to be spot on. Furthermore you could do an MRD calculation which really is the best way to get the flattest shooting (Most Recommended Distance), most of the phone based apps offer this.
