Hello, how are you? I frequently watch your TH-cam channel. Your work is consistently captivating and exceptionally well-presented, which is why I came here. I wish you luck. 🩵
Thank you for the kind words! I am doing pretty well, how are you doing?
I was looking forward to your next upload! Keep them coming
Thanks for that! I will keep them coming!
Hey, just stumbled on your video so forgive me if you answered these questions in previous videos! Is there a reason you are not also contributing to your portfolio monthly? What did you base your sector allocation percentages on? Is there a reason you prefer individual stock picking of just buying a market cap allocated ETF like VOO? Or as you are pretty dividend focused, something like SCHD? Love the spreadsheets btw! I'm a big spreadsheet person myself!
No worries! I stopped contributing monthly a while ago. I went through a big career change and needed more money to get by. I based my sector allocation on personal research and preferences. I wanted a semi-risky portfolio with a large focus on dividend yield. I screened for long standing high quality companies who have a history of increasing dividend yield and strong performance. This is not my only investment portfolio. I have two others that are based on long-term investments in ETFs and mutual funds. I enjoy selecting the individual stocks in this portfolio because I enjoy doing it. I recommend other use ETFs as a primary way to invest themselves.
Great Job 👍
Thanks! 👍
I have a question, I'm not a dividend investor as I live outside of USA so I have 30% Withholding Tax Rate (From Source no way to avoid it) Why you don't focus more on Total Return, instead of "Dividend" Investing, ETFs Like $QQQ & $MGK or even $VOO out performed most of dividend stocks and looking how things going and earnings estimation I can see Technology is still in growing phase. What I'm trying to say is dividends once made sense but not anymore. Stocks used to pay great yields but no fast growing is paying this much any more, what companies pays 3-4% and still growing fast? almost none. That not to discourage from dividend investing, but might give you a perspective. Much love <3
That is a very good question! I have additional investment accounts outside of this stock portfolio that are based on long-term growth. The reason I am focusing on dividends with this account is based on personal preference and I enjoy getting my hands into it. The thing I really enjoy most about dividend income is a lot are considered "qualified" which means I don't have to pay taxes on them. Last year that was more than 60% of my total dividend income. So the idea is instead of selling stocks to withdraw money from the account and having to pay capital gains tax (here in the US) I can simply take the dividends earnings out and pay a smaller amount on taxes. (That is until one day in the far, far future I close my portfolio down or die.)
Our October and Nov budget took a front pan to the face. Hurricane Helene and Milton flooded Florida Oct 9-10. My house had 6” of water in it and just moved back in Saturday the Dec 7th…. 🤦🏼♂️ the only goals that we accomplished in that two month time frame was was to reconfigure our 401k into higher paying dividend ETFs like spyi, qqqi and jepq for more income.. glad your thanksgiving went well and glad you’re walking everyday friend
Oh... that is hard no matter what way you look at it. I am really sorry your house was flooded. That is something very challenging to deal with and come back from. Best of luck to you and your family as you reestablish yourselves.
Great Video Becky!
Thanks!
As of December the Utah and Oregon markets are closed to individual juicers and only available to limes logistics partners unfortunately
JUST an eye opening reminder or new info to people.... donating plasma is considered taxable income. Some places will give you a 1099 others won't, but you HAVE TO PAY TAXES on that ~$40+. So, put ~25% of that money into a savings becuase you will be paying for it!
That is very true! If you make less than $600 dollars you do not have to report it to the IRS. But everything above that does need to be reported. Thank you!
Really cool to see everything broken down.
Thank you!
Great update
Thank you very much!
First time watching. Love the spreadsheet with the goals!
Thank you so much!
Keep up the good work saving and investing.
Will do!
LOL I dont know how your video got into my list. Anyway let me first give you congrats in making regular contributions and be willing to anaylze and choose individual stocks. I hhope you recognize this is NOT a typical year, and you shoul not be expecting the returns that we are seeing this year always happending. Remember the S&P over the long term grew at about 9%. So when it YTD is is over 25% you can expect some years it sill also go down. At that time, look at it as a time when shares are on sale and you get more shares for same money. But continue to invest. Another comment I woul make is you mentioned target date funds. THey have many problems and I do not recommend them. Here are the basic problems. First they usually are funds of funds, so you pay the higher fees than a simple index ETF or mutual fund. But the bigger problem is related to how and when they change the portfolio mix. THey change it based on YOUR age not anything related to what interest rates are doing at that time. So, when interst rates are rising, and the value of a bond is therefore falling (look up the inverse relationship of bonds if you dont know what I mean) you wil see that the NAV of the funds will be going down. Think about just 2 years ago when the Fed quickly rose rates. Go look at NAVs for target date funds based on years foe people older than you are and see what they did. They lost money, but if the fund had just kept with equities they would hve done great. Because of the higher fees., they get reccomend. But in almost all cases, for those who dont want to pay attention to the market an low cost S&P index funnd like VOO or SPY would give you better long term results. Hope this was helpful. Let me know. And if you do, perhaps I will subscribe and help you become a huge YT influencer. Regardless good luck, from someone older than you but has benefited from long term investing.
Hey overall 12% is pretty dang good
Thanks!
Thank you. The parking is right here beside my apt. I thought it couldve charged someway in the parking zone lines. 😂😂😂😂
Congratulations on a 250K + net worth! That's fantastic! 🤍
Thanks! 😃
New subbie from Ang budget and debt's channel. I'm really appreciate you sharing this video with us, I haven't gotten into stocks yet as I don't know enough to feel comfortable to know where to go and what to purchase. So i love seeing others journey
Hey thanks! I only invest in individual stocks because I enjoy it. Best bet is to just invest in ETF's which are in my opinion the best way to go. They offer a ton of diversification and minimal fees. You got this girl and thanks for the support!
What is your goal with having so many different stocks?
It's called diversity. It means you don't run the risk of a big loss due to specific stocks or specific sectors crashing. Actually this portfolio is very un-diverse to me. I invest in thousands of stocks using ETFs that track indexes. Also this portfolio is underperforming compared to a benchmark such as the S&P 500.
Thanks for share
You bet!
Love the video. Been a subscriber for awhile but miss your videos time to time. I'm curious, do you value your gym equipment at the purchase price or estimated market price (if you had to resale it on a short notice)
Hi there! I try to value you my gym equipment at an estimated market price.
@@enduringfinances Thanks for sharing! Planning on making my downstairs onto a gym so was curious. Appreciate the guidance.
How many batteries can you pick up from Lime, can I pick up 100 batteries and work on them, bring back 100? How much does that pay? Also do you have a link to your excel spreadsheet? Saw it on another video of yours. Keep up the good work! Loving the channel!!
How can i apply in lime scooter charging
You need to download the Lime Supply app and create an account on it. If you have a Logistics Partner set up you can enter their information. If not, you need to select for the app to share your contact information with potential Logistics Partners. Then they will reach out to you.
Congratulations!!!
Thank you so much 😀
Great video... subscribed..
Awesome, thank you!
Congrats on the $250K net worth!! 🎉🎉
Thank you so much!
Well done friend. Our 401k has taken a big big jump since we are currently debt free and now allocating 80% of my salary into both my wife’s Ksop job 401k and our roths. This has bumped our dividends from 500 to over 800. On pace for 1200 by January of next year now.. progress
Wow! That is awesome!
We have Like scooters down here in Corpus Christi Tx
Thanks!
Great information. Thanks for breaking everything down, I will subscribe and look for more videos on your channel!
Awesome, thank you!
14% is epic friend. Well done.
Thank you!
Great update!!
Thanks!
Great video! Thanks for the transparency and background information. Quesion regarding the self directed portfolio; do you ever add money into it on a monthly base?
I have not added any money into it for a few years now. The goal is to get back to a place where I am adding money every month again.
Why not consolidate your retirement accounts by rolling your TSP into the 403? Probably many more investment options than there are in the TSP at the very least, plus you can contribute. I'm sure you have your reasons, just curious what they might be.
I really thought about do that and its really common to do. I Like to see how each one performs individually and I may consolidate them all together in the future.
I am not seeing the link to your triathlon channel. Is it a TH-cam channel?
Sorry about that. It is a different channel - th-cam.com/channels/SyrvvQTRAkHPgwxY81t3pg.html should get you there.
I was in the red this month as well. I am giving you a shout out on my channel. Thank you for your service to our country
Being in the red stinks... but thank you so much for the support!
Awesome job!
Thanks!
Hey I just wanted to figure out how lime supply members get paid or where do we get paid from if u understand what I’m trying to say
I think I understand what you are asking. Members who work for a Logistics Partner will be paid by the Logistics Partner. This could be by paycheck, direct deposit, or a different service. Lime is no longer using workers directly through the Lime Supply App. They moved away from that these past few years.
Thank you for sharing your strategy and portfolio, I am forming mine, I just hope that the actions you mentioned can be of help to me. I will do my own analysis. Best wishes from Spain
My pleasure! Best of luck to you!
Great Job !
thanks!
Nice ! Do you have the yield max and defiance ETFs ? Check out QDTE and XDTE for weekly options pay out ! Make sure you focus on dividend growth stock ‘😊
What's your definition of "works for me"? you are under performing the market per the the S&P 500.
My goal is not to out perform the market. I want to build up a dividend producing portfolio that pays out monthly dividends to replace my income over time. My focus is primarily on dividend return and not on overall market growth.
My first time looking at this TH-cam channel. Would be nice to know why you picked the stocks you did. And when you knew the value was good to buy them. Maybe that is explained somewhere but can't find it. Seems like these are a collection of really good stocks. But a good stock still could have a very over inflated price. So when you buy the stock affects success.
Thanks for you feedback! I will need to start a series where I talk about why I like the companies I do. As far as pricing goes, I am less concerned with the up and down of prices in the short term. In the long run it is impossible to time the market perfectly but I find it better to simply invest when I have the money to do so. My focus in mainly on the dividends the companies pay out and not on the market value of the stock price.
Great video! Possible to share the spreadsheet? I’m trying to teach my kids and your excel was way to follow and effective. Thanks!
Thank you so much! I will create a blank spread sheet that you can download this month!
@@enduringfinances Ty! I shared your vid with my 16 and 13 year old-helped get them excited for the life long journey this will help them begin 👍🏽😊
How much money can you make after paying taxes?
I break down taxes and earnings in this video you can check out. th-cam.com/video/qvln0Un-vSM/w-d-xo.html

Awesome work. Will you ever invest in physical real estate? Are you a 6 figure earner? What is your savings rate percentage?
I may one day invest in physical real estate. Right now I have REIT stocks that do from a small scale. I am planning on renting out my own house later on this year.
We had a huge June. My wife’s work ksop ( profit sharing style 401k) pays a bi yearly div and it was 680 bucks and the rest of our cover call etfs and stocks paid another 150.. so def one of our better months.
Yay! Very nice work!
