Hello! Hossein is here.
I made MyGrandmaGlass channel to keep memories of my grandma alive. In 2011 I started to go to college, and my grandma gave me a small tea glass (visible in the channel logo) to remember her every day. This is the type of glass that has a history in Iranian tradition. People used to go to teahouses in the morning or after work to socialize while drinking a glass of tea or/and smoking hookah. They used to drink tea in the mentioned glasses called "Kamar Barik" (narrow waist).
My grandmother passed away in 2020, but all her memories are with me forever.

Hey my throttle has a s weak heart w do u mak was t going fast
Thanks for a great review and showing off our beautiful city!
Hi, do you think the throttle alone would have got you up the hill or pedal assist necessary?
Impossible!
Throttle is SAFETY CRITICAL FOR CROSSING ROAD.
For some reason unlocking the 25km/h speed limit does not work for me? Hold set for 3 sec, click till 2 and use minus or + does not change the digits....any idea why?
I went out and bought a Rover + Gen 4. Really love it, however I’m only getting up to 20km before Im down to 25%! This can't be right as they advertise 100km.
Did you find out why it doing that?
Thanks. That was very useful.
Cheers mate..hows the bike going for you now?
Can you buy extra batteries to increase the distance you can ride?
Hi mate I recentley bought this bike(250w version) but I can’t get it to go past 25. I tried to change the setting but it won’t go up. Almost as if it’s stuck on that speed. Do you know if I have to do something else to get past 25kmh. Thanks heaps.
Please reply what button did u press to make it go from the 20in thing on the after u pressed the button to the normal stuff
Excellent review! How do you find the mechanical cable brakes? As they have since updated to hydraulic brakes. Able you able to emergency stop ok?
They were alright. I don't think you'd have any problem with them.
Hi. Can Rover carry more than 7 kg of weight on rear rack. Thanks
I think it can even tolerate a passenger's weight
@@mygrandmaglass6776 thanks 😊 That,s great.
How did you turn the lights on and off please?
With the button
Thanks 😊 look like no front suspension. Is it hard when riding? Thanks 😊
It was okay. The fat tires help a lot to compensate, but lack of front suspension increases the bounce kind of.
@@mygrandmaglass6776 that's true. Thanks 😊 Alex
Your seat is at the wrong height as your legs are bent.
G'day GrandmaGlass How u remove the battery due to im having difficulty understanding the manual n failed to remove it
Hey mate, use the switch to unlock the battery and pull it backward. Very simple.
@@mygrandmaglass6776 MGG yeah act simple as that, I was worry im gonna damage something if I force it Anyhow I already sort it out 5days ago But thanks 4 the reply though, sincerely appreciate it
I bought one today and its coming in a few weeks, im so excited for it to arrive!
Thank you, it was comphrensive coverage (could trim a bit, no offense). I am leaning toward buy this bike after review your video
How do u get it to go 40kms
I don't think you can do it and still expect it works well for some time. Plus, it'd be illegal to ride a bike at that speed.
How do you u lock it to 40kms? Is that 40kms throttle only?
How do you unlock the throttle I want to get it to 40kms
where do you buy the bag on the front of the bike that looks like a motor bike motor.?
eBay!
Just bought and assembled mine - 48w step thru. Heaps of fun, but some initial observations: 1. The supplied manual is crap - written in such poor English as to be dangerous. 2. When riding at 25km/h the gear ratio has you pedalling so fast as to be annoying. Needs a better ratio when in 6/7th gear so that pedals match the speed. 3 Assembly - the mud guards need to be sealed underneath with a silicone sealant to prevent dirt etc from hiding in the folded metal and causing rust - esp if you wanna ride off-road. 4 ride time /comfort. Max is 30 mins before that wide seat starts chafing your innner legs. Could be improved, or just unlock the throttle and stuff pedalling altogether.
Thankyou for the strait forward video 🙏🙏🙏
Thanks for your video, it's very helpful. I will be unlocking the throttle as I'd like to use it at least to give me a good boost while starting up on hills or busy intersections. Do you know what the button does underneath the twist throttle? Is it also a push button throttle?
Thanks for watching. Hope you enjoy it. I don't think it's a button. The bike has only twist throttle.
@@mygrandmaglass6776my bike has a grey button underneath the twist throttle. I contacted Dirodi and this was their reply (for anyone wondering) "When the grey button is pushed in, the throttle works from a standstill otherwise, you should twist the throttle and pedal half a turn so that the throttle kicks in." 🙂
Can you show us the maximum speed?? Someone told me that it could go up to 55km/hr is this true?
I tested with throttle only at 9:15. It doesn't go beyond 25km/h, and it's illegal in Au if it does. Maybe the motor is able to reach that speed, idk. But with the current setting, it's impossible.
Hi, could you please show me how to unlock the throttle. I followed your instructions and tried to do it numerous times but failed :( it keeps saying error 5
If you've done it exactly as I did, bear in mind that the throttle activates only while pedaling.
The dirodi is defiantly very entry level when I compared to the ampd brothers ace. The ace is much more premium feel and ride. Climbed hills way better and doesn’t use generic motor, basic brakes, shifters etc. but I guess that’s what you get for the price point 🤷🏻♂️
Exactly! In fact, these types of bikes are generally produced by the same company, or company group in China imo.
I have been tossing up between the two. I can only see the ampd as 500w and 80nm torque whereas the dirodi is 750w and 86nm torque so my very simpleton non ebike techy brain doesn't understand the comment so would love to hear why. Also my husband is 6 foot 2 (188cm) and I'm worried neither bike will truly be big enough for him without him sitting at the very back and therefore not able to have one of our kids in the bike. Have either of you ridden both and can confirm which one is bigger/taller? Ambd say up to 200cm but dirodi say 185cm but they both look to have similar size specs so it's confusing!
@@ladyaimee I am 187 cm tall, and Dirodi was fine for me. The bike is okay for two people, I say. However, the way you explained, I believe a proper motorbike suits you the best if you are considering riding long distances. Cuz you feel a bit uncomfortable if you ride these kinds of bikes for long, say more than 30 minutes.
Wonderful review bud. Well done!
im going to get this and mod with wind trbine cyclindric 400w $1000 i hope 200km range
Dunno what exactly you wanna do, but good luck 😃
Nice video! Do you know on the 750watt model what the top speed is? They only say its 25km/h but can be unlocked
Thanks for watching! You may ask this question from their customer service, as speed is different from power. So you don't damage your bike. As a hint though, you might be able to change the tire size in the setting to increase the top speed, as the motor pushes to rotate it faster. Again, ask the customer service about it.
There is no shipping to Holland
I don't think so, the company is in Australia. Ask them to make sure though.
Nice review. I just got mine and wanted to understand the settings on the display. This was helpful. Thank you.
Hi, thanks heaps for the review. Do you know if you are able to activate the throttle, but at the same time use pedal assist - so you are mainly say using the pedals and then want to use the throttle for a bit, then go back to the pedals - is that possible? Or once you have activated the throttle, that is the only way to make the bike accelerate? Thanks
Hi Manda, you can accelerate using both throttle and pedal at the same time.
Hi I'm thinking of buying this bike just wondering how tall you are because I was thinking that me at 183cm tall the seat may not be high enough. Thanks for the review👍
Hi Kyuss. I'm 184cm. It's alright, don't worry ;)
Thank you for this video!
Hey I was wondering what the height of the bar joining the seat to the front of the bike is from the ground? I really prefer the step over version like you have but I’ve got really short legs. so if that bar is too high I’ll have to go with the step through version.
Hi Nikki, the height is about 75cm. I agree, the step over is cooler than step through (mostly for men).
@@mygrandmaglass6776 thank you 😊
can accelarate without pedalling?
You need to pedal at first a little to activate the throttle. After that you can increase or decrease the acceleration without pedaling.
Very amazing natures.
Thanks for visiting
When I look at the Sydney skyline and the bridge, I cannot but remember the final scenes in Mad Max III when the survivors flew back to Sydney to reclaim it decades after it had been nuked.
Sydney is amazing. It always has somewhere to go over and over withought getting bored.
Hey brother. Thank you for taking the time and effort to do this review.. I found it super helpful - which eventually persuaded me to order one (750w/48v step-through in black)😊 Just a couple of questions: (1) how long does it take to fully charge the battery? (2) what’s the maximum weight capacity for riders on this? As I’m certain that one of my children (my oldest is 15 y/old) will want to ride with me.. Looking forward to your reply. Regards, Wil..
Hi Will, happy to hear that. Hope you enjoy it :) About the battery, I think it takes about 6 hours or so. I haven't count time tbh. Regarding the max weight, I believe it's reliable as it has big fat tires. I remember that a 150kg was mentioned on the website. As your bike is 750w, you shouldn't have problem with more than 150kg I'd say. Unless you and your son are 120 each 😅
@@mygrandmaglass6776 thank you for that info. In that case it will definitely be able to handle both me & my son. As we have a combined weight of 130kgs. Also, it would be awesome if you, the others & I that have the Dirodi Rover e-bikes get together for a ride somewhere..😊
Sounds like Harley club haha 🚴🏻♀️
What he said 👆🏽👏🏽👍🏽
How can you get a 750w motor? I though the legal limit was 250w? I assume the speed limit must be set to 25km/h, but if the police have a look at it and see the motor is 750w, will it get confiscated?
Such an awesome looking bike. I’m saving up for one. Thanks for the review. 😊
You are most welcome Nikki!
Thanks mate, you just made my day and save me some money. I can wait to receive my bike.
You're most welcome Manuel. I hope you enjoy your bike as I'm having fun with mine :)
There is a mod that can be accessed that can increase output to 750W or 1000W, but you need at higher capacity battery of course. Which can also be sourced....250W nowhere near enough.
I do not think so... Power is the key attribute of a motor and can not be changed unless you modify the motor. Moreover, you should consider that any modification in the system voids the warranty. I refer to the 750w version of the bike, which has the same battery capacity. In addition to that, I personally believe 250w suits "city biking" in terms of battery consumption. A 750w motor discharges the battery faster than a 250w, although you ride with the same speed. But yeah, if your primary usage is offroad, perhaps higher power is more suitable for you.
@@mygrandmaglass6776 I know all this, and the guy who made this mod using existing components and battery pack knows this, and he rides his 750W Rover daily, with much higher speed and longer range. Rarely needs to pedal, and he is over 130kg. Given the 750W looks exactly like the 250W, he draws no attention. Warranty voiding mods to be sure, but he is an experienced technician in these matters, so not concerns. So, the mod is not a publicly available option, but if you know what you are doing...
