I'm guessing you have the same car model? That should reset once driven enough.

If not, check the connection again, and if that doesn't work, try disconnecting your battery, wait at least 10mins, then reconnect. The other check, is the rear pads perhaps?

@@drivewaymechanicdiy4843 yes, I have a vw sharan 7n.. No, the brake indicator lights up when I start the the car and after 5sec it goes off.... And afther every prox 15 min the brake indicator lights up and goes directly off.. Maybe bad connection?? Best regards

Yes, it can be done. First decide, If you want original switch and lights for your Smart or a universal fit ones..

How it can be done is that complicated any suggestions ? It doesn’t matter the switch i would like original one but I can’t find anything in sweden only fog lights 💡

@@x3mist88 I have never needed to do one, but I did it for a rear fog lamp for a friend. Need to wire the switch to the Fusebox, use a spare slot or "piggy" back on either the rear wiper or the cigarette lighter fuse, ground wire to the chassy, connecting to your fog lights..

It was lipped by maybe 2mm so decided to change it rather than grind. 👍

@@drivewaymechanicdiy4843 Mine is lipped too and there is rust on the inside of the disc..Never been changed since new 2011. I will change them just waiting for good weather .All the best to you .Cezary

@@cezaryrenoir2456 Rust is normal on all brakes, but lipping means that the discs are wearing thin and and there is a minimum threshold this can go down to. Best if you can change them as they're not expensive and easy enough to replace along with pads. All the best and thanks for watching.
