I put the grim stand at the very top when packing stuff away, plus have the clips loose in the box. That way I can set up the stand, clip the grim together, then unpack for playing

Psychopath holding lil' monsta not having a jinx to cancel the rock paper scissors seems broken af. That's would almost be as bad as if the organ grinder or vizier didn't have jinxes to be executable by town even if they don't vote for themselves when they are holding the lil' monsta, but I concede only almost because it's only a 2/3 immortal demon instead of 100% like those two would be. At the very least, they need a jinx for final 4 to be killable (which is final 3 after they kill someone with their ability).

the ONLY thing I'm disappointed about this video for is that we didn't get a slideshow of ALL the garfs at the end!

I had remembered this game from when it was streamed, and I'm looking back on it to get some ideas. I'm super curious, what was the vision for the good team figuring it out and winning here? In the Leech game as presented, it would have taken the Slayer exactly shooting into the leech host, which can move, followed by exactly executing the Scarlet Woman who could have been any of the evils? I imagine a Mastermind would go on to a "second day", but then it would be really obvious what's up. In the case of a Zombuul, they would need to slayer shot and then execute the body right? (Or I suppose a Doomsay could kill it and then execute). In the case of a Legion, it would require like every single Legion to Doomsay practically on the final day. Even in godmode where I can see the whole grim, I have a hard time piecing together how to do it, much less how a confused good team needs to do it. I assume I'm missing something, or there was some other mechanic that would have happened if a Cult win hadn't happened right when it did.

If I had a nickel for each time a grandmother didn't have an ability and learnt an evil player as Sage who promptly got into a double claim with the actual Town Crier, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't much, but it's weird that it happened twice. (actually not that weird, probably partially intentional, but still goshdang funny)

Not fond of Capelli talking to chat while people are talking in rooms 😅 makes it very hard to hear either of them But I really love the ghost concept! Sad it didn't play a bigger part. Been thinking of making my own Legacy run, think I might make dead character's abilities going off in future games a large part of mine, cause it seems like that could lead to some fascinating interactions.

The fact the house that got rich off of hunting lycans has the Lycanthrope in it is such juicy lore! ❤

ooo, this game was absolutely fantastic, incredible job keeping a game this inherently messy this clear and well-curated. Also loved the touch of the engineer always dying over a different fruit tree, or was that just accidental? One personal pet-peeve I just gotta mention: "If you are mad about there being a previous day or night, you may be executed" is not accurate. Just my autistic game designer brain going wild, but. In BOTC there is a consistent distinction between 'might' and 'may': if something might happen, it's up to the Storyteller to choose, if something may happen, it's up to the player (though bc of that it would not be phrased in a passive form, so it totally works in the sense that the grammatical distinction already makes sure we know it's the Storytellers who may - but it's simply not how it would be phrased in the game's logic, it would be "you might be executed")

44:34 if Andrew had chosen Power there he would have INSTANTLY turned evil, which is crazy! Oh, and it would have meant that the scouts needed to guess 5/6 and a Fang Gu jump would raise it to 6/7.

Adding pronoun sheets is a genius idea I did not think of! I barely thought of the name tags in the box, but that extra bit of caring is kind of awesome.

The editing is a little extreme... The transfers are loud and harsh. But the players and storytellers are great. This is a lot of work and it's appreciated.

Is this playable with the base set game? Can I print this script and go?

As I sit here prepping for running your first stand alone adventure, “ghosts”, I wanted to congratulate MCG and Shanna on an incredible work. I’ve got hundreds of #ttrpg books, including core books and expansions from dozens of systems and genres and OGoA is the game I consistently am the most excited to run and get players to play.

Found you through searching for people playing this game, yall are great! I think it was Tyler, saying "are you guys from a sunshine making factory" caught me off guard cuz I was thinking similar. Great dynamic 😂

Loved the pronouns stickers idea. Never seen those before.

Watching this in-person Clocktower has given me a theory. A good in-person story teller is very social with their group. Being able to walk around and interact with your group without a mechanical reason seems important. While good app story teller works best when lurking through the chats, as to not disturb the game too much. But I suppose a social ST is never *bad*. From watching streams it just seems like lurking is the way to ST while using the app.

On the third night, Peppa the no dachi killed Andi in the night. And then Andi used her ability but as far as I'm aware death in the night is instant, am I wrong?
