Wdym there were uprising, gueriella fighters and constant sabotages of weapons manufactories. Czech pilots joined the RAF and soldiers joined the allies once Germany occupied Czechoslovakia. They even killed the highest ranking german official during the operation anthropoid and movies were made about all of these especially anthropoid and Prague uprising.
@@Yaro_03 Of the many millions of people, only one officer and a handful of soldiers resisted the Germans during the occupation of the Sudetenland. @secretbunnie2206 The prague uprising consisted of 18,000 ROA soldiers and roughly 30,000 local insurgents. It was czechs first then the ROA defectors who joined them since they defected from the German army in hopes of better treatment after the war. Also let's not forget that USSR allied with Germany and helped invade Poland in the first place thus helping start ww2. In fact more Russian soldiers fought on the side of Germany than Czechs. Also Slovaks were the ones who supported them Germany since they declared independence and joined them right before the war.
They did. But the Nazis had an easy time with reducing the czech populations ability to fight back since they had been given the country piece by piece and before 39, allowing them to focus on rooting out any resistance in the annexed territories. That´s the main difference between the czechs and the other resistance groups arround europe. The czechs weren´t invaded and then occupied, they became, even internationally speaking, a part of germany with their goverment or military being incapable of setting up any proper resistance until they recieved outside help in WW2. The Prague spring is a completly different scenario. Czechoslovakia was a sovereign nation and member of the warsaw pact but it´s goverment was changing. They were still socialist but went a different direction since they were the poorest warsaw pact nation... And moscow reacted to it by sending soviet and polish soldiers to force the czechs to make the changes they wanted. Offcourse the czechs protested. Those soldiers are THEIR ALLIES, they are meant to PROTECT THEM. The average soldiers themselves didn´t know they were going to opress the czechs either btw. They had been told they were going to egypt to defend the suez canal against israeli, brit and french forces
@jamesmortimer4016 in Europe there was no resistance anywhere except Russia/Belarus and Serbia and Poland. So you are writing complete nonsense. The Germans did not exterminate the Czechs in concentration camps, like the Slavs in the occupied lands of the USSR. Czechs voluntarily worked for the Nazis, 1/3 of the entire military-industrial complex of Germany was in Bohemia and Moravia. So the blood of every third of the tens of millions of dead is on the hands of the Czechs. But the Czechs rebelled against the Russians. They rebelled only because they hate us with all their souls and cannot forgive their defeat. What then, what now...
