So wonderful relaxing. May I ask what synths and effects you used for this track?
@@RainerMuenz sure thing - vital with a custom patch, delay, distortion and reverb (vital’s own effects) then run through filter, distort, delay, eq, reverb, eq and saturator in ableton, all stock effects, nothing fancy.
@@GruneMaar Thank you so much for explanation. Distortion is very interesting, I need to try that myself. Excellent result in your track.
@@RainerMuenz no problem and, yes, distortion will add, in most cases, character. Some small amount will bright up some harmonics that usually are not audible on a lower volume. Vital distortion + ableton’s stock distortion at 10 - 20% can totally transform even the most boring patch.

i love the image here, the silver river contrasting with the dark ground and tree. with a fog in the background with dark clouds approaching, the tune feels serene and peaceful i also like it.
this is very good i love it especially the art. the art is amazing, love the icy plains and the beautiful mountains in the back help complement the atmosphere, dark and foreboding but at the same time serene. clouds are done very well too makes it feel as though something dark approaches.

@@deankrugel hmm, that's a very good question because, usually, my composition process it's mostly based on improvisation, no pre-planning, and I was actually playing with some parallel processing techniques when something just clicked, like a forgotten memory (hence the video description).
