Kuriyama is a joke of a lawyer!!! Kudos to Erik for keeping his cool
This guy is a creep and the judge is a piece of work
My goodness, these women explained in detail the exact state of mind in panic mode/ survival mode of those boys that night, wich drove them to murder in self defence after decades of abuse, and they still convicted them.... unbelivable!!!! Such a shame 😢😢 No wonder the whole world wants them free
6:05 “Dr. Burgess, do you know what psychobabble is?” A most outrageous statement of a lawyer insulting an esteemed subject matter expert. I can hardly believe it.
with a good judge presiding she would have been reprimanded and/or sanctioned but with a judge because he had just presided a child molestation case he lost as a judge in his "charge to the jury" he had to in his mid be the real biased person he was and is/was. so biased he gave her the keys to every door in the house.
…”And do you tell all your patients that if you threaten me, I’m gonna tell my wife and girlfriend…” 😂😂
Funny how the brothers never once mentioned to this doctor why they killed their parents... The most important factor of all the rape and the molestation and not one word was ever spoken..
If my father raped and molested me I would never ever call him a great man or even think about writing a book about him... Unless the molestation stuff never happened
The prosecutor is trying really hard to avoid the fact that the father was bisexual and a predictor . Questioning the childhood friend that the boys were wild. HELLO kids can be wild they have lots of energy. It’s so sad that the Judge was biased and didn’t want to hear it. These guys were put through hell and back. The system has failed them and the rest of the children.
these prosecutors will turn blind eye for money, even knowing children are being abused, MONEY B 4 CHILDREN,we need them locked away even if they havent actualy abused a child they are as bad.JESUS AS PLANS FOR THOSE KINDA PEOPLE
Bozanich is a total disgrace. Her cross examination of these expert witnesses is cringe worthy and infuriating. Bozanich lays bare her ignorance, nastiness and gross disrespect for others. The collaboration between Weisberg and Bozanich has been a shocking travesty of justice, an embarrassment to America.
There are several things in this testimony that blow holes in their story 1. They said kitty had recently bought a rifle, escalutating their fear, but in court he testifies that she bought it a whole year earlier. Long before any of the alleged altercation took place 2. They have said their parents telling them their going on a fishing trip scared them and they thought their dad was going to throw them overboard. Turns out, they knew about this scheduled fishing trip before the alleged altercation. 3. He admits he had a good life at the time and didnt want that to come to an end, financially. He wanted to find a way to solve his brothers problem and still carry on with his lavish life, so murder was the answer. And his mom had to go or they wouldn't get the money. No matter how you slice it, money was a motive in some capacity. If it wasn't they could have taken the thousands of dollars he said him and erik had lying around their room and left.
This trial demonstrates that a significant section of the legal profession is so ignorant about crime. Thank heavens the science profession is shedding light on the subject.
Weisberg’s conduct regarding these expert witnesses has been despicable. He keeps on ‘reminding’ the jury that the expert witness’ testimony is just their opinion and not firsthand evidence under oath!!!!!!! That is a total disgrace. These witnesses are thoroughly researched, intelligent and their entire career and reputation is based on their integrity. For Weisberg to patronise their testimony is worse than ignorance, it is spiteful. I have been sickened watching his conduct through these testimonies. Not only is it an injustice for the Menendez case, but it is an injustice for our entire society. America has amazing, talented professionals that have so much to contribute, yet, the legal profession, if we go by Weisberg, diminishes their potential just like we swat a mosquito. He is so despicable. I hope some legal professionals conduct a review of Weisberg’s conduct. It’s one place to start to bring some integrity to the profession.
my personal opinion all my life has been that the judicial system in this country is so corrupt and it is proven every day - the hope always was "the Supreme Court will correct that" but the SCOTUS of today is so totally corrupt that even cheats and liars sit in judgement of every case that comes before them and the innocent are never innocent in most courts.
These so called therapists are the reason I wouldn’t go to one, 12 STEPS FOR ME
Oh he would never figure that out 🙄
I’m commenting here because the comments are turned off for the Ann Tyler testimony. WEISEBERG IS SUCH AN ID*OT!!!!!! It was infuriating listening to him there, especially when he was putting down the discussion about generational abuse!!!!! What an absolute missing part of the brain that man is! That information is HUGELY important to understanding important parts of the whole case. How did that man ever get given the label judge? Utterly disgraceful 😮💨😤
Lee's parents should have never been parents, electronics is these kids since they were just little and what happened was a spur of the moment out of fear
The attendance to the issue of abuse in our society lies mainly with psychology and law. Listening to these testimonies, I am in awe of what the psychology profession has achieved. I compare this to the abysmal effort of the legal profession. People still do not see the police as a safe place to report abuse! The law profession ought to be ashamed of itself.
Judalon? She's nuts!!!
#grilled 😂
I would have loved to have heard the jokes made about the ludicrousness of the prosecution when some of these experts got back to the office! 😅😢
Pamela is weird! She asks a question, the premise is shown as false (eg the false memory syndrome), then she goes on to ask a question based on the answer SHE wanted, as if the person had agreed with her!!! 😮😢🫨🫨🫨🫨🫨 How, oh how was she given any credibility in this case?!?!?🫨🫨🫨
Omg! Pamela Bozanich’s understanding of human development is embarrassing! Everything according to her seems to have to fit in a legal box. No wonder the legal system cannot understand preventing crime, and we have the appalling crime statistics that we have. Prevention is better than cure - she just doesn’t understand.
Ugh this judge is such an asshole!
America has an amazing level of knowledge and skill in these experts. The legal profession needs to be ashamed of themselves that they have not respected or collaborated with the health profession. If that knowledge was translated into the legal system, there would be more prevention of abuse, rather than waiting for it to be a dreadful disaster.
This really shows how young these boys were
Judge was ok with Kuriyama asking stupid ass repetitive questions
Judge extreme extremely biased... when Craig was adding extra points he didnt react till.Leslie pointed out
Why they didn't ask about the day Jose threatened to kill him if he sees with Eric again. I dont get it.
I went to school with Lyle.. whether he knew it or not he was just like his father.. he never once gave me any inclination whatsoever that he was ever touched by his parents in a wrong way.. far as all the other accusations they have made about their parents that I believe, their father was a bulldog and a mistake was never allowed I honestly believe they were treated like this pretty much their entire life but as far as the molestation goes I am so sorry I did not believe one word of it... Here at our high school in Calabasas he was known as the big bully on the block trust me quite a few of us were glad when they moved over to Beverly hills but we're so disgusted what he did to his parent's the right decision was not to pull the trigger but to just walk away instead😔
And it seems he's still like his father, he's now cheating on his wife in prison with a 21 year old. And this is the second wife he's cheated on in prison.
Watching Leslie call out his bullshit is such a joy 💪
She couldn't call you, but you asked her to call you back? Tf
This man is sick in the head
This psycho is exactly the reason I wouldn’t go to a therapist 12 STEPS FOR ME
Watching this makes you realize exactly how young Lyle and Eric were and not the monsters the media SWAMP would have you think 😢
This guy is a psychopath
FOOD ALLERGIES?!!! DURING THE VIETNAM WAR?!!! What a COWARDLY CREEP!!!
I LOVE, LOVE LESLIE!!!❤❤❤
Uggghh that's gotta be sooo exhausting for her having to deal with his excuses and BS. Her team and Lyle are amazed at her.
This cousin was paid. She’s so shady I don’t believe a word from her.
25:38 😔
2:54:05 Erik was so done with Kuriyama
anyone that tries making these lads look liers and sides with a child sex offender are offenders of children themselfs i reckon
The p o s judge really outdid himself here. Almost as if he wanted to ridicule Leslie In front of the witness.
some bad people in high places these lads had no chance as kids and no chance in their adult life, thanks to these prosecutors and this judge
who's the guy from the defence who is questioning judalon?
Can’t stand Pamela and the other grey haired guy. Full of excuses why they got a hung jury and unable to accept that Defense put so much doubt in the case that “beyond reasonable doubt” wasn’t proven. None of them should have worked in justice area. They cannot even distinguish between legal and moral justice.
this prosecutors really annoying me
All this Psycological, emotional & sexual abuse throughout their lives- they retaliate & get life- Did all this testimony matter to anyone?! Did they even listen? So unjust.
at some point, I feel like Erik could have been lied about how he operates the g*n. what I mean by that, he would have known before or had experience with certain g*ns, but he sounds hesitated to explain and avoid to sound like you know it all 41:00 'i'd never loaded a g*n like that before' what does that mean 🤨
