Yeah! 😄 But it would be so nice if they did a lot more reprints and you're always making me want to go and learn more Japanese 😄☺️ just so I can have cheaper and more authentic volumes! ⭐

Trust me, the manga volumes are have in Japan are much smaller here. I have about 20 volumes in my rooom right now. The paper is much cheaper and isn't expensive. Manga in Japan is preserved and there will be reprints or some companies will stock them up for newer fans.

I will have to check out Hiro Arikawa's other works too then. I found the story extremely interesting and the topic can be relevant in any decade. I found the same to be true with Fruits basket. The hardships of dealing with grief can be so relatable but mixed with also beautiful and fun characters has really made it a favourite of mine 😊😃

@@theotakureport_ idk but I think WMMAP first? I dislike at how it differ than the novel but the art makes up for everything haha. And Death is The Only Ending For The Villainess has paper book as well, and it really help popularize villainess subgenre of otome isekai imo. For OGs otome isekai manhwa then I can't recommend The Reason Raeliana Ended Up in Duke House, Dr. Elise and Abandoned Empress and Emperor's Daughter enough, and both Raeliana and Dr. Elise had anime adaptation too recently. However I'm sure they have official book release or not 😅 I want to spill more too but unfortunately the OI or villainess or shoujo fantasy historical manhwa that I read and love mostly have reverse harem genre or element in it so I'm not sure you will like it or not haha😂

I really want to read Yona but I'm waiting for news on a potential finish date as I would not be okay if I had to wait for new releases because I'm hoping it's going to be amazing! I've read Cheeky Brat and some Skip Beat! A while ago but can't stand that it's still ongoing! I need closure 😭 I liked Love so Life and Arakure from them but not so much Ore-sama teacher unfortunately. I'm sure there are more so let.me know if you have any more recs 😊 thanks 🤍

@@theotakureport_ Deeeefnitely do something like that! What works for a lot of small manga TH-camrs is starting One Piece and reviewing it arc by arc. The fanbase will instantly rally around you because there's nothing we enjoy more than seeing someone experience it for the first time! I've seen smaller channels go from a couple of hundred subscribers to tens of thousands just through that. You can do it all digitally as well because the whole series is available online! @@theotakureport_ I think my first comment may have been hidden by YT. Basically though, I'd highly recommend doing a series of reading and reviewing One Piece arc by arc! I've seen a lot of insane success with other small manga channels doing this because the fanbase loves to rally around these first time experiences. Also if you have any questions about TH-cam in general, feel free to reach out! It's always great to see another Australian in the mangatube world!

For the most part I get them as e-books through Amazon. I used to like Crunchyroll too but they don't have that anymore. I use Kodansha and viz too. If I can't get it anywhere, i.e it's been out of print or it's not digitally available I will read scanlations but I'm really adamant that money trickles down to the artist if I can. Hope that helps 😆❤️

I live in America. I speak English and Japanese. I have some friends who are from Japan and send me each new manga release and issues each week. I'm usually caught up to my manga do to me having interactions with fans from Japan.

@@theotakureport_ Start with something more everyday like Yotsuba. It's mostly Hiragana. It's an easy manga that can help you level up your reading and speaking skills. Currently right now, I am reading Death Note and Bloom Into You in Japanese.

@@theotakureport_ this is my first video I’ve seen of yours, so I don’t know what all you have, but I’ll tell you all my favorites anyway. I see you’re a fellow FMA enjoyer, and that makes me so happy. I own her other series, Silver Spoon and Daemons of the Shadow Realm. On another note, I discovered Dinosaur Sanctuary this year, and feel like it’s so underrated. Colorless is also very underrated. In terms of shojo, I have Cheeky Brat, Ima Koi, Lovesick Ellie, My Happy Marriage, My Love Story with Yamada-kun, and The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity.

I watched Silver Spoon the anime version but have not read the Manga, is it worth it? and I have Daemons on mt TBR, just need a few extra thousand hours to get to it >.< Thanks for the other recs too. I just checked out Colorless and it looks really awesome and the concept seems really unique. OH!! i just picked up Ima Koi last night actually! and I was liking it so much I think I've already bought the whole collection second hand... 😅

@@theotakureport_ if I’m being honest I have read Daemons or Silver Spoon either lol! I’m also battling needing thousands of extra hours. Colorless is so cool, I hope you check it out eventually! Ima Koi has skyrocketed to one of my comfort mangas. It’s so wholesome and I’m constantly thinking about it. Once you finish it all I hope you’ll share your thoughts on it too ❤️

I agree 100% with you! I think it's Italy that has stunning editions of Peach Girl, but yes way too many to even mention and at times I find myself wishing I spoke German ,french, Italian or spanish because they just know how to do visually pleasing covers! Haha I wonder why our covers and editions are so bleh! 😩
