I heard they chopped a trench through Baden Powel. No thanks. Had to do this divert in a car once. Can't imagine doing that on my bike with no map to reference. Stopping to sort it out is also a no-no. I would probably have turned back to the N2 and gone the long way around.

As a UK biker, I visited the Western Cape in 2019. Return trip 2020 cancelled due to COVID. Hoping to visit this year, early May. Sometimes filtering can be challenging but at the same time there's something really satisfying about riding progressively but at the same time safely. I didn't quite get the "Squid" bit- but just have now whilst commenting. I prefer and always have ridden out on my own, some bikers are just dangerously embarrassing idiots who give the good respectful riders a bad name. I'd rather get home alive and dehydrated than de-skinned and dead!

We are the manufacturers of the alarm shown in this video, Please do not fit the top screw as shown, It may cause the alarm to fail, It needs to be fitted from the top of the tank and point downwards so that the tip is at the level the alarm needs to activate. The placement of the screws is not correct, we now recommend that the top screw should be fitted from the very top of the tank. Fitting both screws in the side can cause the alarm to fail to sound when coolant is lost.
