มุมมอง 6K5 ปีที่แล้ว
Here is a glimpse into our daily mourning routine. Every morning I let the chickens out sometime between 7-8am. I give them our table scraps and take the compost out to the bin. I have OXO Compost counter bin that we love. The top comes off easily so you can easily dump everything out. Here is the link to that. amzn.to/333JO67 I will go through how I scoop the coop and lay down a small fresh am...

Do you leave the coop doors open all the time? Within the run? I’m new to chickens this year and wonder

I keep the coop doors open all the time but the run is locked at night. The coop doors open to the run, so ideally they are safe.

Do you get like predators trying to get your chickens 🐓 or chicks 🐥 because it looks like you’re in a peaceful neighborhood and not close by any woods 🌲?

It depends on the time of year. Towards the end of winter the hawks get kinda crazy and we have to lock the girls up for most of the day. I will let them out for a few hours at the end of the day if I'm home and can keep an eye on them. But that only lasts for a week or so until the hawk moves on.
