THE DIAPER JET BY DESIGNWRIGHT INNOVATIONS
มุมมอง 10712 ปีที่แล้ว
The Diaper Jet is a simple free-standing fan that sits underneath any common diaper changing mattress or pad. Its head swivels so it can be easily placed in the most effective area. The fan sucks in the bad smelling air, scrubs it in an activated charcoal filter, then discharges the air down and away from the person changing the diaper. Walking Robot with Chariot
มุมมอง 1.4K16 ปีที่แล้ว
This robot was designed for a University of Utah Mechatronics class. The goal was to design a walking "horse" that used discontinuous motion (legs) to pull a "chariot."
+1 for this technique! It took me a bit longer, but this is definitely the way to go. Thanks!
Thank you
any issues with the brass piece wearing out if kept greased?
Yes. Funny you ask that because one of mine just wore out. Needs replacing now.
@@maudsquad How long did it last? I figured it would wear out. They need to be made out of stainless steel
@@atxjax1 It has been just over two years. Agreed, they should be stainless. My driver's side is great. Passenger side is dead. Maybe a manufacturing flaw in it. Not sure. It was nice while it worked, though.
@@maudsquad Thanks for the info. I'm going to get the pin kit and have a friend mill me a stainless roller.
Nice, I took the door off on mine for no scratches or abuse to my pillar, I just put some tape on the fender to protect it and the outside of the door. The door connects on the inside after removing side floor panels and the dash end cap

Do this in day time where there's actually light and why you whispering can barely hear smh
Cuz dealers will hunt him down if they find out he put this video up
Great video, thanks!
Part number please
The aftermarket part number show in the video is Dorman 38300.
That is a after market hinge pin roller. I don't understand why everyone is making a big fuss on how great it is. It isn't. Look at your door frame. Factory is nowhere the same as video. I will attempt a replacement of a factory hinge roller with an after market. But this video is somewhat false. THAT ROLLER HAS BEEN REPLACED ONCE BEFORE! Note to everyone
Yes, it was replaced once before...about five minutes before I made this video. The roller you're seeing in the video is the aftermarket replacement already installed. This video is purely to show a few tips and tricks I learned while replacing it. No need to blast those of us who are trying to find a solution to the obnoxious creaking of the worn out parts. You're always welcome to go buy the GM parts and rebuild it.
@@maudsquad That was a very professional way to say "get fucked, nerd." Nice job.
This worked so great for me. Did the whole job in less than 10 minutes including greasing the pin and cleaning up. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful! Keep them greased. I've had one of mine already start squeaking because I didn't keep it greased.
Thank god it’s that quick of a job irl
Thank you
🙏🤘
What i do is role the window down use a cherry picker to hold it steady and remove the spring with a screwdriver then remove the bolts on the bracket took about 5 minutes did the work on a bench reinstall took maybe a total of fifteen minutes to do the hole job.Oh you just grind off the pin at the bench.
Thank you
Thank You !! 🙏 great info
Do you keep the spring compressed while you drive the old pin out? With the pin out does the spring fall out without keeping leverage on the arm with a screwdriver?
I used a screwdriver to hold the spring back while I removed the pin (only takes a few seconds). Once the pin is out, there's no need to hold the spring - you can release it and it won't fall out. When you're ready to put the new pin in, just use the screwdriver again to compress the spring. Hopefully that helps. Good luck!
@@maudsquad, thanks for clarifying that. I was going to put a jack under the door and just remove the hinge. Then I discovered this wonderful 13mm bolt behind the pin on the bottom that would be impossible to remove without removing the door from both door-side hinge connection points to access it. Good old GM. I'll give this a shot after dinner. Guess I should make this a regular maintenance item for all 4 doors. Thanks for the quick reply and the video.
Light wasn’t an issue. Great content. Should save me a couple hours.
This helped me replace my 2008 suburban roller. Thank you.
Need more light
Why the bad music?
Great Vid! What Coldplay song?
@AZURA888 I think I heard shape memory alloy fibers instead of electromag actuators are many times stronger, 100 times stronger than what human muscles can do. But frankly I'm no expert and its a long time since I read that article...
why didn't you just pass current through the wire instead of warming it with hot water????.
Of course, great machine. but results ridicolous compared to an humanda hand....
This is a very good use of SMA, well done guys!!!! ;)
