Size 1 is very nice for pedo practice. From my experience about size 2, it has wide surface area and covers 3-4 tooth at a time (avoids multiple exposures) & good for endo practice Only problem I face is in the lower anterior region (narrow arch cases) and some pedo patients.

@@DentalAddaDrSwarneet so what will you recommend only size 1 and 2 are available in carestream size 1.5 in vatech only But i will purchase carestream coz of quality . By little adjustment we can adjust size 2 sensor for anterior may be. Size 2 is about 1.6 lakh Another option is buy size 1 and 2 both from xpectvision or woodpecker . What shold i do ?

Eighteeth Nanopix also comes with size 1.3. If u don’t want to go with Vatech. If u don’t want both. l will recommend size 2 for carestream.

3 times replaced vatech sensor n exactly after 5 years it stopped working purchased a nanopix sensor a year at half cost of vatech with 5 year warranty excellent image quality better image for upper molars

Ideally It's not recommended for class 2 with high stress bearing areas. If we use it, then proximal contact & isolation should be tight enough to improve longetivity and duration of filling. Still it will roughly stay there for 6-12 months. (Because it has less compressive strength)
