Building Heroes, a charity providing a unique programme enabling military veterans to achieve a rapid transition into employment in construction.

Building Heroes provide training and personal support to enable service leavers and military veterans to achieve a rapid transition into employment in the building trades. We deliver an intensive 5-week programme covering a range of construction skills plus relevant health and safety training.

From the point of application we work with our trainees to find employment in the building trades or to progress into self-employment on graduation from the programme. We work with a network of employers and trade associations able to offer interviews to our trainees whilst on the programme. We also continue to work with our veterans to support them to secure an appropriate progression route on graduation and achieve very high success rates.
